Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
All about control today - if this becomes s frantic back and fore they have the power and the goal scorers to take us down.
If we can control the tempo and pin them backwards we will be in with a chance.
They look light in midfield and might be vulnerable to our transitions- COYS!!
Flip that on its head - you play fantastic for years - then have a brief dip in form - so you get rid?
I hope/believe our decision makers are more sophisticated than you.
Fulton has (at times) shown premier league quality, and is a great fit for what our new coach wants - and Matos is certainly...
I am invested in the Canadian markets - but I guess trhe principles are the same.
If you hire a financial manager - they will drive up in a huge Mercedes- think about that - and how they make their money. Spoiler alert - it is off your back!!
The best advice I ever had is NEVER keep money in a...
Trust me that away leg at Torquay was better listened to on the radio - never been so drenched and freezing in my life! If we had lost it would have been possibly the most miserable day of my life
I dont think I have ever seen a ball hit with that amount of power. It literally went through the arms of the keeper above his head - and normally you would be pointing the finger at the keeper. HOWEVER in this case the ball was past him before he could soil himself. What a strike!
I also think...
I was on Riviera Maya about a decade ago - and a couple of guys took bread from the breakfast buffet to feed the fish.
I saw a shadow in the water about 30 feet away, and in a flash a barracuda flew through the middle of the 2 guys hunting the smaller bread eaters - the guys shit themselves and...
Phuq me - psychiatrists would have a field day with some of the posters on here. The basic need for validation and desire to be proven infallible makes for a very interesting case study.
In other news - they have invented something called grey - not everything is black and white - and sometimes...
I have found through bitter experience that there are no easy games in the Championship. An error, a refereeing decision, or just dumb luck can make every game tight.
Excited to see how our attacking intent tries to open up a team that will likely park the bus.
Both Ronald and Franco have definitely improved with regards to theatrics. I am sure Matos has got into them about it.
Now all we need to do is get Ronald to deliver even 10% of what a normal winger does in the following categories
1. Crossing the ball vaguely toward a team mate
2. Not charging...
Strange how sometimes it works and sometimes...
If you scroll back to Kyogo at Celtic he was phenomenal - a right handful. And before everyone starts -not just in the Scottish league but in the Champions league as well.
He looks like his confidence is shot - BUT if Matos can get him at the right...
Don't agree - this is like looking at an issue from both sides and drawing different conclusions.
We as a club are very wary of doing business in January because there are desperate players in the market and prices can be unrealistically high.
I agree with this 100% as a buying club - as a...
I believe we are on the cusp. Yes the away record is appalling.. BUT - yesterday’s second half performance was one of the best i have seen in a long time.
Hull were completely neutered on their own patch - and with some more ruthless actions in the last third we could have scored 3 or 4 ( to add...
What we saw yesterday was a bunch of exhausted players who need a break. First amomg them were Cabango and Galbraith (who should have been left at home to recover). Canango needs a week or two to recharge - but we just don’t have the ready made stand in.
Cullen is an odd one - at times he looks physically unprepared to play championship football - weak and one paced.
However, he has runs of form where he looks sharp and an efficient taker of chances. We need that version today.
What is never in doubt is his world class ability to point the...
Unlikely we will keep a clean sheet - particularly with 2 ex Swans strikers chomping at the bit.
This means we HAVE to make the most of our opportunities to create and take chances.
Lets see if the pressure of Nunes makes a difference to our wide men - but when they get into dangerous positions...
