Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
So who would be in your starting 11 if none of those are going to be in it ? The like for like replacements would be to include Parker for Key (a big call for such an important game) and Benson for Ronald (an even bigger call !). The other 2 have more obvious replacements. Or would you change...
I think I’m right in saying that Cabango, Burgess, Tymon and Stamenic are now all on the 4 Yellow Card mark, so 1 away from a suspension. Let’s hope they take it in turns to pick up their fifth (especially the defenders). Is Santos fit yet ?
Yes, just looked it up. A rule change this season means you can play for up to two teams in the Carabao Cup if you’ve had a loan or permanent transfer (but not the FA Cup)
I’m sure Ollie Cooper played for us vs Crawley, so how come he’s allowed to play for Wigan tonight ? Have the cup-tied rules changed? If I’m wrong about Ollie playing, please ignore
I’m a South Walian Welsh first language speaker, and I’ve never heard of, let alone used, “cwning” and “afallen” but would use the “North Wales” words instead. I’ve also never used “ia” for yes. Bit sceptical about that piece if I’m honest.
I think tonight’s starting line-up will be close to the Boro line-up with hopefully a fit Cabango in for Santos. Big question then is who plays up front - Cullen, Vipotnik or New Striker.
