• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I struggle to work out what incentive some of these players actually have. They've just trousered another good few grand for that pathetic performance, but why should they change? Looking upwards very few if any of them would cut it in the PL so to strive to get the club there would be like...

That's as good a reason as any. I find it remarkable some of the things he confesses never to have heard of. But he's harmless.

...while questioning the Canadian lady about a Tim Burton film I'm sure I heard a fart. I'm not alone - someone just started a thread on X Any corroboration in JA world?

I hope the next Swans manager was watching. Or, he's made to watch as part of his induction

That's useful. Occasionally I would like to record streams either from Swans TV or the red button. I have found AZ screen recorder which works with my Samsung Android tablet but there is a file size limitation which means I can only capture about 30 mins of video. I need to work out on AZ how to...

Yes I agree with you there. I have assumed that as the Sky Go app allows me to record the Swans game, by inference that can't be a red button game.

No worries mate, thanks for taking the trouble to reply. Just out of interest and for future reference, how do you tell which game is the main (linear) broadcast?

Yes you are correct, channel 404 is SS+. But, there is a main (linear) broadcast on that channel and once you fire up that channel on your Q box, you are offered via the red button, other games as options. You cannot record those games, and it's not completely clear which game, being offered on...

Yes I realise that, the issue is if Swans were the Main game (Sky call it the linear broadcast) on SS+ you can record it. If, however Swans were the Red Button option (i.e. not the linear broadcast) you can't record it. At the moment the Sky Go TV schedule allows me to record Swans on Saturday...

Yes this is the problem, I don't know how to confirm one way or the other. The Sky Go app does allow me to activate a recording for the Swans game
