• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Tick box erercise completed to appease all and sundry , well done Beeb for your stance on inclusion and diversity . Saturday nights screening was ok and I did watch it through , but the neutral factor is becoming tedious . Cybermen and Daleks need to be got rid of , they are the hide behind...

Jumpers and coats for goalposts back in the days , the height ot the crossbar was debatable on many occasions . Coats and youngsters playing football on a local stretch of Village fields and greens are long gone . Well done to local areas who keep the enthusiasm going at the local level , but...

Had the box set of The Following as a Xmas present a few years ago , I do like a thriller and this was a gift . Started ok but then degeneated into being unwatchable , will never ever view it again . Think I took the dvd package to the local recycling centre soon after , horrible scenes on...

Just watched the latest episode on catch up , Lux I believe the title of the broadcast . Still view out of sentiment to The Daleks and The Cybermen . What I seen earlier on my telebox was garbage , CGI dominated and so many innuendos to the past events . Tough times then I appreciate but easy...

Carl Palmer is still going strong on the drums gladly , a great live solo performer during his spotlight showcase . Where do you start looking at Blondie and Debbie Harrys career and soundtrack over the years for us oldies . Sad news , think he was drumming at Blondies Glastonbury slot a few...

Went to The Millers a few years back for a special family event , what a let down from an expected decent venue . Even the chef peering out on the customers looked embarrased , a complaint to the Manager over the lateness of the food was , do you want another drink or free dessert , we aint had...

Cpt. J T Kirk of the starship Enrerprise will still bring back memories of the original series of Star Trek . Spock , Bones , Scotty and Ulhara were the groundbreaking must see tele back then , loved it . The unknown actor brought in as an extra and for one scene will end up as a victim of...

Played Pontardawe Arts Centre late last year , good turn out and Focus acknowleged the audience . 25 quid to see a classic rock band on your doorstep , lets ave it . Reading up I believe up in Cardiff on their next appearences around this area . Worth a trip up the M4 if Hocus Pocus and...

Parlour , the posh front room for guests on a Sunday Afternoon tea gathering . Scullery yes , seem to recall it being called the back kitchen when I heared my parents talking . Coalman tipping a cwt of coal into the outside bunker and I had to shovel it into a tin bucket to get to the...

Radio 1 back in the day when it was never overun by ridicolous presenters waffling on about nonsense . Sounds of the 70s Earlier

Binge watching Colony on ITV X catch up , great start to the story but really running out of steam towards the end of the series . Covid Reflection Day

The Supermarket I work in had a controlled and in fairness a sensible approach used by the customers . Maybe we were lucky to get off lightly in respect of sickness and some long term effects .
