Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Nothing wrong with that. The first loan of 90% of players is often very poor esp3cially during half way through a season its all a leaning curve at this point.
We perhaps didnt help him out by sending him to a club which had immediate expectation of getting back to the championship.
Maybe a...
Thank god for that. Get a proper dof who has actually experienced that role and been around the game before.
Its strange its taken this long aswell especially after it was mentioned in the last fans forum.
Bar 2 miraculous end of the season runs by Sheehan and Martin we have basically been a ≈16th placed championship team for the last 5 seasons.
That's why it genuinely amazes me everytime people say we only need 1 or 2 more signings to be a top 6 team. When in reality we probably need triple that.
5 more points to beat last seasons record. I guess that's best we could hope for with the lack of quality in our squad and managerial turbulence this season.
Vipotnik is better outside the box then in.
His hold up and link up play is excellent and he has a ridiculous shot which he can hit from basically anywhere on the pitch.
But inside the box he leaves alot to be desired, his movement is pretty poor and he takes too long to set himself to get...
The answer is simple we don't have the players for it as i explained earlier. Who is going to control a game when you have 8 players out of the starting 11 who's best work comes off the ball.
Tymon, Galbraith and Eom are the only 3 players who's best work is on the ball. Its a fundamental squad...
Wanting it and being capable of it are 2 different things.
From what I've seen so far they've got more wrong then right when it comes to player and managerial recruitment. That just can't happen if you want to be promoted.
We spent a ridiculous amount of money last summer and we will probably...
The players you have determine your style of play.
People overate what a manager is capable of with a squad. If you dont have the players to play a certain way no manager is capable of making that work.
80% of it comes down to player recruitment which we just simple arent good at.
We have...
You can't exactly blame people.
When you buy a player for 3million and the manager takes him off at HT and then point blank refuses to use him no matter the circumstances afterwards.
That is a huge concern.
Matos deemed him physically ready to start a game a whole month ago and to play...
Matos clearly has? I remember saying that he played more minutes for us before his PNE hooking at HT then all of the games after that combined.
How do you explain that other then the manager losing trust in you?
100% agree. I speculated about the appearance based clause a few weeks ago. Matos just clearly doesnt fancy him and I dont entirely blame him aswell to be completely honest.
People shouldn't be blinded by their poor recent results they have been extremely unlucky in those games.
They create a ridiculous amount of chances but can just never seem to be clinical in these games. They will absolutely smash a team sooner rather then later it's been on the cards for a...
