• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

    Widell

The sort of player who is not afraid to risk losing the ball in order to try and create something. Exactly what we need. He'll need time to adjust to the pace and physicality of the Championship but once he does, imho he'll be a great asset.

    Žan Vipotnik - Swansea’s Number 9

Lets be honest, if Bordeaux hadn't gone belly up, it's highly unlikely we would have signed him. It felt at the time like a spur of the moment signing rather than one that had been planned and well scouted, and he's done little to convince in the 12 months since that he either suits us, or is...

    The demise of Swansea City

Yep. The last couple of months of that Hull season was the start of everything. An awakening of fanbase to how close we were coming to losing what really means so much. I recall a thread on the original Jackarmy.net site titled "All aboard the Swansea Train" which went on for hundreds of...

Kai Rhodes grew into the game and was excellent 2nd half. Hit the bar with a screamer. Ginnelly went off at half time after not doing a great deal. Expected more from Govea. Woodward got the other goal of the bench.

    Kyrell Wilson

2 goals and an assist at the .com for the u21s tonight. Look sharp from the off although faded last 20 after taking a kick to the ankle. Needs a loan to league 1 or 2 this season if he's not going to be involved in the squad, but he should be. Get him on the pitch on Tuesday v Crawley for...

Don't think Inoussa was fit to start but Congreve could have to keep players in the natural positions.

    Russell Martin

Mainly I think because those in charge at he time had absolutely no clue whatsoever what they were doing.
