• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

    Senedd Election 2026

If they hadn't changed Mayals road to 20 then I would probably never have protested because there is clear sense in the above but some roads absolutely not. Plaid wanted 20 as well it needs to be said :)

    Senedd Election 2026

Yes, possibly easier to grasp the Plaid promises. Back from the polling station and my first comment is that is the busiest I have ever seen it. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing!

    Senedd Election 2026

About to head up to the station. I quite liked the green lady that knocked the door, the only one that did. I quite like their policies too. Plaid policies are decent at first glance but the devil is in the detail (20 mph for Labour which thankfully has seen a number of local roads revert...

    Senedd Election 2026

It is ironic that Wales has been fighting against Tory controlled funding of our nation and the quirky way that works and finally seem to be making headway and the amateur party that has one "policy" is potentially going to scrape a win and really screw Wales. How will a Labour government deal...

    Senedd Election 2026

is there a poll for Swansea Gower constituency? Im under the impression 2 Plaid 2 Deform and what other single seats? Fran being number 1 on the Deform list is going to get a seat and paid 75K for her outrageous views. People on benefits need putting down but before they are put down they will...

    What are Reform policies

That is something I had not really thought about but, by golly, I think you are tap dead centre

    What are Reform policies

We call it the Reform bubble where reformers only talk to other reformers so their social media feed becomes reality without question

Reform policies on immigration - do you think it is going to get better?

    What are Reform policies

A Nation of Sanctuary doesn’t mean more asylum seekers. Wales doesn’t control immigration — Westminster does. What it does mean is treating people who are already here with basic fairness so they can work, support themselves, and be part of our communities instead of being pushed into poverty.

    What are Reform policies

If you think that the assembly has performed badly under Labour with all the financial constraints attached the gap between Reform’s rhetoric and its record is not a matter of political opinion, it is a matter of verifiable fact so hang on to your seats if they manage to get enough to control...

    What are Reform policies

75% of all donations to the party come from just three wealthy men. The IFS found Reform’s tax plans would give the poorest households £17 a year and the richest £2,700. Nigel Farage earns over £1 million a year from right-wing media and financial interests.

    Stop the boats

I enjoyed that. Reform are the new Tories and are mugging off the new generation of the above using the same media the wealthy have always used to "influence".

I think all the manager's said how professional and hard working Fulton was in training even though he wasn't getting a look in.

    JackArmy.net - Twenty-Five Years And Out

Paltalk was one of the best things about being a Jack before we started getting live games. If we could have had a live version it would have surpassed it but it was one of the only ways many from distance could get to listen to the games back then. Excellent times and even when we were crap...

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | QPR 1 Swansea City 2 | Att: 13,835 | Tuesday 21st April | The EFL Championship | Matrade Loftus Road

It's funny how we were screwed by the ref against Southampton for a nailed on penalty and then gifted by the ref on what was never ever a penalty.

    Swansea ladies Cup Final

They are, it is just like some childish vendetta that they hold. They probably despise Wrexham as well but just doing it to pretend Swansea doesn't exist. Fact that only 1 in 10 are from the Cardiff area but they want 100% of the news.

    Swansea ladies Cup Final

Driving home and one of the Radio cardiff presenters was saying big night for football, Cardiff havent got a game and have a rest from gaining promotion Newport have a big relegation battle and Wrexham have a chance to chase down a play off place. Didn't even mention the other football league...

    Swansea ladies Cup Final

BBC Cardiff were at it yesterday morning. Raving about the scum capital getting promotion and how they did it. The lady presenter then went on saying and not only that Cardiff ladies won (I think she actually paused because she realised what she was doing and changed her tone) the cup final...

    Keir Starmer

The UK spent over 11% of GDP on the NHS n 2024 whereas it spent 2.8% in 1955. Basically spent 242 billion pounds in 2024. That money has to come from somewhere. The figure to repair the potholes in England and Wales is 18.6 billion. At least this government is trying to clear the backlog. The...
