Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Whatever happens we will start our first pre season game with loads of youngsters playing because we wouldn’t have brought enough players in by then and last week of August we be scrambling to sign anything or anyone and then we’ll be a weak squad come first week of September
Why do you want Cullen up front on his own it just doesn’t work. If we using wingers then there has to be two options for them. Inside drive with a pass or shot outside with a cross. There has to be a Vipotnik or a Bianchini up there but they must be told their domain is inside that penalty area...
Never ever in my life have I thought about not going to the game for over 45 years but …… for my own but maybe more for my wife’s sanity it is now becoming a massive possibility
They play like it’s a pre season fitness game and they’re only there to build up their fitness levels. I’ve not seen a more uninspiring attack from a team in years
Weak from three who get moved off the ball very easily plus no Parker or Ginnelly on the bench. Never any comment on Ginnelly not being there and Parker well … no youngster again prefers loan players from other clubs
O’Brien totally different to Grimes but yes forces us into something different. Reliance on one player is always a bad option we were just lucky his injury record was so good. Boys will settle again and we can then look to get a bit more passing around but the front foot football of O’Brien will...
No we were 3/4 players short before the window opened. With azeem and grimes gone that’s 6/7 short. T-joe-eon ? Never ever gets on so he needs replacing and joe Allen missing again so that’s another needs replacing
Whether we survive this season or not the thread title says it all. It’s now like it was in the prem just making bad decision after bad decision and eventually they catch up with you. If it’s not this season it will be next. Look at our last say 6 transfer windows nothing ever changes. Loan...
Out of curiosity the cut we get of the Whittaker money do we get that in a lump sum or on the monthly drip. I honestly have no idea or is it negotiated again with Plymouth
Keep reading Ginnellys back. This is a guy who has been out for 18 months and prior to that had a very poor playing record again down to injuries. Why would you expect this time to be any different
No mate I’ve been going since 1978 it’s got to a point where going to watch is a chore. Never did they not play for the shirt even when we were fighting to stay in the league and then we had really really poor players
