• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Oxford 0 Swansea 1 |Att: 11,413 | 29/12/25 | The EFL Championship | The Kassam Stadium

Inoussa just wasted two opportunities to get the ball in the box, once dwelling on a Galbraith pass putting him in and then cheating for next. Needs to buck up.

Starting to gain confidence. A couple of moves up the pitch have looked good. Eom motoring.

If the goalies were allowed to pick up a backpass this would look like a game from 1983.

Deserved that. Oxford are pathetic. Please bring home the points boys.

Scrappy. It’s obvious we’ve got better players, remains to be seen if we’ve got a better team.

    Match of the day

MOTD used to be an event, as much about Saturday nights as last orders and a walk to the club or the curry house. So much football on these days that nobody cares. Mind you, the days of Lynam, Hill and the young Alan Hansen was a golden era for me.

About time Matthew Grimes got the credit that he’s due.

At the risk of you calling me a stalker I’d just like to say that I have pointed out similar for quite some time now, I have my own ideas on what’s been going on, I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on it. If I post it on here the usual suspects will jump on it, but at some point I’d be...

Why Swansea City’s Director of Football Move Is the Turning Point the Club Desperately Needs

Mistakes happen, if they bring back a DOF they’ll be acknowledging a bit of a cock-up imo, nothing really wrong with that.

Why Swansea City’s Director of Football Move Is the Turning Point the Club Desperately Needs

Let’s hope that we can make progress. The new manager has a likeable personality so let’s hope results follow. I don’t know if I was in a minority not wanting Hellberg but I also felt this new guy could have been the filling in a shit sandwich a few weeks ago - he was dealt a bad hand when he...

No I don’t but it’s early days. You said they were worse didn’t you?

Why Swansea City’s Director of Football Move Is the Turning Point the Club Desperately Needs

That might be your opinion, I don’t necessarily agree, but all opinions are welcome. 👍 Personally I feel they have the potential to be better because their intentions appear to be more aligned with the football side of the club as well as the business side. It’s early days and there’s been a...

Why Swansea City’s Director of Football Move Is the Turning Point the Club Desperately Needs

We’ve had a shill on here for the last couple of years telling us how great it was going to be when Cravatt and Co took over, people bought in to it, the campaign worked. If it had been made clear that a football club was going to be run by a tipster working from home it might not have sounded...

    Chris Rea

Strange one Chris Rea, a weird combination of coming across as a thoroughly decent and talented bloke yet somehow making some terrible music at the same time. RIP
