• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Be fine lads. We can all talk to the wives. I think mine still lives here. She was here when Phil broke the news that Tony Petty had gone. I’ve not really checked since.

Funny cos it’s fairly obviously true? You’ve only got to see the type of person who argues that it won’t be full of thugs, aggressors and the far right to confirm how true it is.

One of the things Burnham has in his favour is a long standing and very public commitment to proportional representation.

Agree it’s pathetic. The proposed timetable is for the leadership election to be done by the party conference in September. So that’s four or five months of a government in limbo arguing amongst themselves. And that’s after 10 years of the previous governing party doing exactly the same thing...

Makerfield. 5000 majority over Reform last election. 45% to 31%. It’s not a gimme is it?

It’s absolutely pathetic. And the most stupid thing is that they’re actually doing a pretty decent job in many aspects. If theyd been as bold as they should have been with a 170 majority it would have been so much better mind.

In theory a member of the HoL can be PM but in practice in 2026 it isn’t going to happen.

This country is irrevocably broken. The notion that changing the person at the top every five minutes will somehow restore faith and make things better has taken hold since Cameron shit himself and quit following the referendum. It has to be stopped somehow and some kind of law introduced that a...

    Senedd Election 2026

Not my words but a brilliant post from a poster called oldtownjack on another forum. “Wales, and the rest of the UK, enjoyed a period of massively improved public services from 1997 until austerity from 2010 onwards. The austerity agenda after the global financial crash absolutely decimated...
