Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
I was thinking earlier about this. There's been 4, what I would call, bad periods for the club in my history. This is possibly the worst for me. Why ???
#1 : 85/86
Bad management for years had bled us dry. Nearly out as a club. But we had Sharpe et al doing all they could to keep us alive. We...
I started reading this thread from the beginning and could see the way it qas going to turn out. There are some on here who say fans should go, support team, voice concerns etc. Now I don't agree with that but I've had conversations. Others swing the other way, like me, and I've seen...
You could completely turn your argument on the head. People who are sick of going and won't support this regime can say that you won't like being told (the most) that you are helping in keeping the status quo.
As much as it pains me to say it, I thought Ronald was best player on Wednesday. Even Aidan Newhouse would have got on the end of some of his crosses unlike Vip. Not saying he would have scored obviously lol
Eom would be challenged at Under 12s, Saturday morning at Cwrt Herbert.
Wigan was the worst for me. Friday night. Springfield Park (I think ?). It was raining, cold and the slippery mud Bank was horrific. Think there were about 20 Jacks. Lost. I think.
We're ultimately in a catch 22 mate. I can't see a winning situation. We stay up, Coleman thinks Luke is the Messiah (moreso than he already does). We go down, he'll be on about Montague and Luke building a promotion team to be proud of. The only spin I can see is that I think we'll have higher...
It'll be a shit game and, what's worse, is it'll be horrific weatherwise. Stoke is horrible in the Winter in an open industrial estate. Been there twice. Horrible games. Lost both. Horrible weather. Not going for the match ball, let me fucking tell you.
I'm sorry but why the fuck should I pay money to sit in the freezing cold to watch that shite ? If there was effort I could possibly agree with you to a degree. Feelings are shown more by the decline in attendances because people have had enough. How the fuck is it the fault of people not...
