    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    If Coventry, Ipswich and Saints go up with Leicester going down i think the Championship next season could be viable for a top 8 spot. Wolves will lose a lot of players, Burnley will be fairly strong and Spurs will have a kids team. Coming up Lincoln Cardiff and possibly Bolton or Stockport...

    We bought Idah as a knee jerk reaction to failing to land Kone. The jury is our still on whether the fees spent on Idah, Widell , Inoussa, Walta and Stemanic were good additions or not.

    I think Eom and Widdell need to get to the next level and offer more in this league. You can see they both have something that Matos can improve on. Sadly, Ronald for me is a lost cause but I guess he has his fans.

    His system is a high press and high line with wide players being able to beat a defender and getting boddies in the box. The problem we have currently is we can't play a high line with our current CB's as they get caught out in transition. Both Cabango and Burgess like playing deeper as this...

    Our CB's need a lot of attributes to play the Matos system. They need composure, decent quick distribution to feet, a turn of pace and leadership. I struggle to see any of those in our current pairing.

    Just back... really enjoyed today albeit having to tolerate over 6 hours of Saints banter in the car. The ref was appalling again, where is the consistency in this league with officials? We have a mid table squad and credit to Matos for creating a competitive side with all it's limitations...

    Most bets and pundits seem to nail on a 1-3 I will have 2 Saints fans in my car for this and been on the receiving end of banter for far too long with our inept performances against them even our 0-0 thrashing earlier in the season.

    Portsmouth showed if you put a shift in and stifle a top side you can get a result minimising errors and a bit of luck.

    Stewart looks sharp up top, Downes running the midfield and Scienza is huge threat. No pressure on us so hopefully play with freedom and give it a real go.

    It's strange in women's sport being gay is very much in the open like football, hockey, rugby, hockey, cricket and swimming but a lot less in the men's sport.
