    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    What makes you think that? Nowhere at the start of the season were there talks of play offs by the club, that was always just wishful thinking by the fans. In fact Sheehan was always saying this is the beginning of a project.

    Yeah definitely need to get some kind of meeting together for people interested I think. We would also need to ensure people on this site would be willing to move to a new one. As I understand Phil is unwilling to pass over the reigns for this one.

    Hasn’t he got a contract until 2029? I’m a massive fan of his but I think it’s a bit early for that. Maybe see how we’re going leading up to Christmas. That’s going to be the dangerous time for losing him, if we’re performing like we have been.

    I was already pretty confident Idah could step up for us next season if we sell Vip. After today it’s an even bigger confidence boost. Any player is going to have to be pretty special to match Vips performance this year. I’m not saying Idah will do that but I think he can get 15+ goals for us.
