Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Excellent win! Scrappy performance but I think we just edged it. Getting a result when you’re not at your best is what gets teams in the playoffs. Really great to see.
I mean he’s tied 3rd with Franco for goal involvement one behind Tymon. Unless our other wingers step up he’s the best we’ve got in that department, as well as having the best work rate. He also has the stamina to play for 90 minutes which none of the other wingers seem able to do. It’s not hard...
Technically he’s more productive than Eom. And he’s put in some good performances since the start of this year. He’s also a workhorse and does a lot of defensive duty’s, particularly when Galbraith is out of position. I think the trouble for Ronald right now is he doesn’t have the support out...
Yeah it’s certainly a nice place to be in, a very good foundation to build on. It’s remarkable when you consider the state of the squad at the beginning of the season.
I agree with this. I would also like to see a proper LB challenging Tymon, or at least letting have a break now and again, Guy must be knackered this season.
We've had a remarkable turn around with our offensive set pieces under Matos. I'm sure I heard in the way down by the sea podcast that one of his new coaches has taken over offensive set pieces, and the old coach is still on defensive set pieces. If that is the case then there is an obvious...
I think any team with any recruitment strategy will hit and miss. It’s just the nature of hiring individuals, you can do your very best due diligence but there’s no guarantees. I’d still say we did well in both transfer windows, especially compared to the past few years.
Not a peep from this guy when we’re playing well. One bad performance and he smugly returns like he’s a prophet. Glad to see your break hasn’t dampened your ever present pessimism.
I just said this in another post. But what I would really like to see is us sign some young players to develop for LB and CB. Instead of us having loan players as backups. Maybe GK as well, though we’ve signed an 18 year old already. But those positions do seem to not have any talent ready to...
He’s not terrible but not outstanding either. He always seems to have at least one blunder a game that puts us in the shit. He also lacks pace just like Cabango and they struggle against a fast physical forward. I certainly wouldn’t complain if we looked at getting a replacement for one or both...
Well we’ve been hovering around the top of the form table since December so I think this squad is knocking at the door of top 6. Will probably run out of time this season though.
God people are having some meltdowns. Yes it was a poor game and it clearly wasn’t our day, that ref very much didn’t help. But that’s football, we move on and look to the next game.
It was the right thing to do to give Sheehan the chance even though it didn’t work out. There’s no guarantee Helberg would’ve worked with us. Things happen for a reason and I’m definitely not disappointed we ended up with Matos
