    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Much like the players we're bringing in at the moment, "quiet" isn't always a bad thing. The fact there aren't any leaks it's actually a very good thing. I'm more confident today that things will turn out okay than I have been in a long, long time.

    The TRUE 'Swansea Way' is getting there through hard work, dedication and punching well above our weight class. Clubs like Man City and Chelsea who blatantly manipulate and cheat the systems have irrevocably lost their souls and identity. The PL is indeed a cesspool... A very, very rich one...

    It's starting to seem as though we're going in the right direction again... Ambitions for the club are, once again, a realistic, reasonable emotion to have as a swans fan! We just need to nail our away games consistency...

    Great documentary here detailing the blatant corruption and manipulation within modern football. It's surprising how many people aren't aware of this and its impact over football.

    This argument falls apart completely when events occur right in front of referees and linesmen, are clear rule breaches, and neither the ref nor the linesmen see it or do anything about it. The OP here is a good case in point. I'm not suggesting for a minute that there's "bias" at play here...

    Shocking incompetence. I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter how many referees are in the pitch, their idiocy and cowardice knows no bounds! Retrospective punishment is needed in cases like this for the player AND the referees!

    Work, originally. Then I met my wife and we made a family here. It's certainly far away from the hustle of city life. A much better line than we world have had in California or NY. Not as cold as Alaska, either. Also, it's far away from Florida! 😂

    There's a lot to the game a lot of Americans don't get -- until they watch it for the first time. It's even more powerful if they watch it live. The atmosphere, the tempo, the emotion, the comradery.... It's all much more superior to anything we have in the US such as baseball, basketball, Ice...

    You could receive all the support from the club, supporters and other players and despite everyone wanting you to do brilliantly, there's a greater chance it could do squat. Some players are just not that good, and sometimes we need to face up to this fact. We've seen flashes of great play...
