• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Vitor on the problem of his coaches.

POLITICIANS are to blame here. Brexit, as a concept it was promised as, should have delivered a LOT more. It should have been meaningful. I'm not debating the UK was screwed over. What I AM stating is that 'BREXIT is being used as an excuse in this instance. Other teams have their staff in...

I didn't swerve your question. It's called context. A counter to your argument. It's common knowledge afterall that foreign EU nationals could work in the UK freely -- that didn't need an answer, clearly. You, however, HAVE swerved my question. Re-read it and respond. I'll wait.

Vitor on the problem of his coaches.

I don't normally like answering questions with questions, but to best understand, answer this question: How many other teams with foreign managers who are waiting on foreign backroom staff have experienced the same delays as Swansea? If Brexit was to blame, as claimed, then no team in the UK...

I agree. There was incompetence and arrogance from both sides. Politicians, like referees, are c*nuts!

That's not a fact. Being in the EU is not a guarantee. This shows how ignorant you are.

Vitor on the problem of his coaches.

Irony: arrogantly claiming those wanting to leave are "arrogant". Tell me, do you also vote Labour? It's not Brexit that's the problem here. I'm an American and, incredibly, I seemingly understand more on the set up of EU and Brexit than most pro-EU supporters, having been involved in many...

Vitor on the problem of his coaches.

Using Brexit as the excuse is absolute bullshit-tier logic. Can't see many other clubs having the same issue; has Hellberg for the same problem? This instead comes down to preparation -- by the club and the pro-EU government. I'm not saying there aren't further delays now, but let's not kid...

    Matos’ Staff in Swansea

You have to use your imagination!

    Fabio Borini

I'd go as far as to say we need another £2mill goal beast like Michu. Instead we get a £7mill Idah.

    Fabio Borini

Not seen him since leaving Swansea. We already have Inoussa and Eom, but Borini could be a cheap backup. Obviously it isn't a complete authority on the subject, but FC26 rates him as 75 overall. However, IMO we should start focusing on home grown, academy talent who are able to step up as...

    New manager assistants

I swear, the club has a history of creating more drama than an episode of Breaking Bad!

    Idah

Absolutely agree. He's visible and involved in all areas of the pitch... Long may his form continue!* * As long as he's with the Swans, that is!

We're in a relegation battle - pros and cons of booing the players

Sure, the managers' haven't helped our current situation, but there's only so much blame that can be pointed in one direction when it's a team sport! What we need are not necessarily boos from our supporters'. What we need are players who seek continual improvement and want to be here. What we...

Disgrace! Club and Players - We Are Going Down!!

I wasn't expecting much today, being Matos' first game in charge after a little time with the team. However, that second half was a complete capitulation!

If you can’t support us when we lose or draw don’t support us when we win.

Put a maximum limit on agent fees and watch how things change. For the large part, agents have a lot to answer for when their 'ambitious greed' is in the ears of players come transfer deadline window.

You can blame Williams, Sheehan and maybe later on Matos..

A good manager will work to improve players. In my opinion these players, mostly, are not as bad as you claim. They do, however, need game time, better coaching, better management and a game plan. Over the last several consecutive managers the teams have not been getting this. 'Inconsistent'...

    Harlan Perry

Confidence on the pitch begins when the club shows confidence in the players. We need to be recognizing and rewarding our home grown talents as they form a huge investment in the clubs future. What's the point in fostering, training and mentoring future talent if we're not fully utilizing the...

    Kim Hellberg

That's exactly what Michael Laudrup said: "The place is lovely but that 50mph speed trap area between Swansea and Port Talbot is a bloody nightmare!".

    Martin. Yes or No?

If Martin is hired as our manager then we're just setting ourselves up to fail. It's time the club showed a little courage and ambition by getting an experienced talent.
