• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Another gutless performance

Who else would love to see the Swans become more ruthless and opportunistic, constantly pushing...? At present there's too much emphasis on keeping the ball, even if it means going backwards and sideways more often. It seems to many here though that pointing this out is being, somewhat...

    Another gutless performance

If the Swans took their chances in the same way by shooting from distance instead of trying to fight their way into the goal, the results may indeed have been different... It seems ANY criticism ATM is viewed, by some, as an overreaction or "entitlement" instead of constructive suggestions to...

    Another gutless performance

You haven't noticed that players don't shoot when they could and instead keep passing backwards or holding the ball? Just think, how many times have you thought, "shoooot!" white watching the team? There's too many people here making excuses for a lack of endeavor and courage by the team...

    Another gutless performance

This isn't in question - today was always going to be tough. However, my point was, had our players taken CHANCES... shots at range which we know they're capable of, the results may have been different.

    Another gutless performance

The team are their own worst enemy ATM. They need to get out of this mentality but this international break will not help. They need to be drilled as we cannot keep hoping for scraps around the opposition goal! I personally see this as an injustice because, as we've seen, they're capable of...

    Another gutless performance

Overreaction? No.... It's an attention grabber though, for sure! But look at it this way... the team need to take shots when the opportunity arises. Instead they're passing backwards too often and holding the ball when Leicester did not. The ones here mocking this as an overreaction really...

    Another gutless performance

Sheehan needs to get on top of this, now! Too many attempts not taken. Too many opportunities , wasted. Leicester saw spaces and took their shots. TheSwans don't take their chances unless within the 2yrd box. I don't like these international breaks when we should be doubling down on important...

Worst VAR blunder of all time.

There's nothing wrong with VAR. It's always going to be the human element as the weak link. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-escalate-ghost-goal-rage-36006307

From Liberty to Injustice; the solution to the Championship’s referee woes?

The use of VAR; we either continue with the extremely poor and incompetent officiating at matches, or we bite the bullet and accept some form of technological support - whether in the form of VAR or a trimmed-down version... The most clear fact it's that PGMOL referee standards are in the...

From Liberty to Injustice; the solution to the Championship’s referee woes?

Either that or have more referees for the referees at the games... Dishing out cards every time the ref gets a decision wrong. But then, who referees the referees referee?? More referees? The only problem with VAR is human error - an issue we've seen a number of times in the past. No system...

    Cardiff or Wrexham ?

There's no "neither" option... Update: Totally misread this. Thought it was "Who would I rather see promoted"... In that case, there's not BOTH option.

    Adam Idah 40k a week.

This story has the appearance of one DESIGNED to stir up unease and disruption in the changing room and among the fans. Pretty incredulous, really.

    Adam Idah 40k a week.

£40k per week?! 1xIdah Or... 5x Galbraith's (likely more!) I know which player I've been noticing a lot more since joining! Was SnoopDog involved with the negotiations?

Excuses?... No. Just reality. Quit whining!

Alan Sheehan on Birmingham City | Reaction

How much of that could be due to tiredness and match fitness? The Carabao Cup match was very tough and 3 days afterwards we're expecting a win against another tough opposition... I too am disappointed, but some on here and on X you'd swear were been demoted already... The levels of changes...

Alan Sheehan on Birmingham City | Reaction

Absolutely! It's say this is to be expected. The international games straight after the transfer window closed hasn't helped at all, but we're still dealing with a largely new team. If it was later on the season I'd certainly be more concerned, but we're not Real Madrid - so stop EXPECTING wins...

    Burgess v Darling

Darling tickled the boxes for us, sure... Burgess, however, is a much better player. I genuinely couldn't see Darling scoring two in the same manner as Burgess last night! It's clear he's much more confident and has a very keen eye on opportunities. That shot in the 97th minute was another...
