• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Ronald is such an odd duck The two hardest things in football for an attacker is being in the right place at the right time and putting the ball in the back of the net and both of those are extremely difficult to coach, a player either has it or he doesn't. Ronald has an amazingly consistent...

Not that most of us would touch them with a ten foot pole but if only we had a supporter's trust that we had paid subs into for years who could fund that.

In Ronald's defense it was his dip of the shoulder and dribbling past his man that won the free kick that Walta scored from. He clearly has that ability but showcases it maybe one time out of twenty

Great, I would love for something similar to this to still be kicking around post May. No offense to the Indy but their forum looks like it was made during the era of myspace

Yeah the wall looked to be a little more than 10 yards (based on the 6 yard squares) about 11 or 12 yards perhaps? To put it right in the top corner off the post was sublime Not that it matters here but I always wondered why the wall doesn't start about 2 yards away from their white line and...

I have an account on the indy and occasionally lurk. I always found the user interface very user unfriendly though which put me off posting there too often

I also thought it was heading towards the top corner, Charlton commentators thought it was an unfortunate deflection but on replays the keeper had no chance unless the deflection sent it right at it

Indeed Fulton was excellent in that second half, he broke the line so many times and got us on the front foot.

That was a free kick that any player would be proud of. Right in the top corner off the post There isn't a keeper alive who would have saved that

We were safe from relegation on...

The best part is almost all of those games were against sides who very much had something to play for The Southampton sucker punch robbery aside where we were denied a clear penalty for tugging Eom to the ground when he had cut inside his man which would have put us 2-0 up at the time that is...

Self proclaimed set piece specialist Didn't he score like two set piece goals in 9 years at the club?

The biggest thing is getting him playing through the middle with fast attacking wingers either side of him. Eom is inconsistent, when on top form he is almost unplayable but that happens maybe twice a season Ronald has excellent positional sense but creates so little with the opportunities...

Trying to remember the last time we had a set piece specialist in the club Celina perhaps?
