Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Volvos are well built cars that hold their value really well , they are actually ranked 8th in the world of car manufacturers out of 300 across a number of dynamics
Everyone wanted Chris Davies with no managerial experience at all.
We had roberto with no managerial experience.
Brendan’s reputation after reading & Watford was in the bin.
Every managerial appt is a risk - I would rather matos than Martin and many others.
Just because a manager has...
Both Nuno and dyche were number 1 targets , if they hadn’t got them over the line and had to work on number 2 it would have taken longer.
And before you say , Forest and Everton are much bigger clubs so we always run the risk of a bigger club (boro) offering more money.
For any good quality business , succession planning starts immediately on the appointment of the new person in post. This is normal good quality business planning. It’s even more important in football as the time in role is so short. I’m sure Adam Worth will have an extensive list of managerial...
Says it all really , Judas and dineen thought they were invincible. They don’t understand the custodian part of their ownership. I for one will never drink any gower brewery shit.
Jenkins is a fucking Judas. He was custodian of our great club and sold to the worst owners possible - he couldn’t get away fast enough. I don’t care about his footballing nous. I hate the man.
Even if hellberg signs he won’t have much influence over the team /tactics on Saturday. If he doesn’t sign we’ll have to appoint the Celtic warrior as caretaker for the Bristol game - it’s not the end of the world - I’d rather wait and get the right person to take us forward.
I think that’s just normal club behaviour -we did exactly the same with Martinez and Rodgers. The Hammarby statement also said they know he’s ambitious. Maybe it’s to show the fans they’re trying to keep him - who knows - no one except the people involved in negotiations.
If his agent is doing his job properly he will have been in touch with the other 3 clubs - I hear boro want Gerrard , Norwich are going with tomasson or O’neil. Southampton rumours include Tonda eckert. So maybe we have a clear road - it’s all gossip
I think it’s mainly the under 12’s that love Martin on Twitter.
I don’t think most of them have ever set foot in the stadium but some others do love him for the double double.
Personally I think he’s a better chef than a football manager.
All his stats wherever he’s been are average to poor so...
With a new manager soon , we may have seen the last of Fulton & Cullen.
I do not wish them any harm , but they’ve proven not be championship level footballers.
They’re skill set is more suited at league 1 or 2 level and then perhaps they can also start enjoying their football again.
If ive misunderstood your post - I apologise.
I will take 12th tbh - as it’s a new ownership rebuild - let’s hope 2 further transfer windows will put us in a better position for next year. Let’s see what happens….
