Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Exactly.
They are not all bad people. Absolute nonsense.
Suits Farage et al to hold this rather ignorant opinion.
Conflates when there’s no conflation. The sort of “it was just a bit of cake” nonsense.
Kier Starmer is your classic example of this nonsense. Criticise him as a politician but...
That reform “policy” is precisely why once this boat issue is gripped (which needed to be) the next stage is speaking up for migration and explaining demographic challenges. Basically facing down the idiots and if that means losing votes - so be it! If people vote for the far right - so be it...
It’s wild isn’t it. Immigration is tumbling under Labour (right or wrong) as has been said many times by many people the boats issue needs gripping.
The really mad part is that the boats didn’t exist before Brexit which was let’s be honest about non white immigration. All that crap about...
If she becomes leader we’re racing towards a reform Tory gov.
Labour need to understand it’s about winning not about purity. The only candidates should be from the right of the party and be good communicators.
The only show in town for next election should be stopping reform, please don’t open...
Can someone please explain to me how you can go from Labour to reform.
Ideologically I just can’t understand it. I’ve tried to understand it but no matter what I read or listen to I can’t make any sense of it.
What is mad is the amount of hostility to this Government from people who are really benefiting from it eg the workers right bill.
They have done a lot but their PR is appalling.
Where they have rightly drawn criticism is from the business community and the way they’ve not used circumstances...
Totally on same page. I like boxing, but it is very on the edge to what is right. I mean you’ve got two people knocking crap out of one another. There’s the part of you that loves it and there’s the part of you that thinks this isn’t right really.
But women? No sorry not for me. I don’t see...
Yes, which makes sense.
25% of the Country are thick as pig sh1t.
There’s always a 10-15% of an electoral base that has tendencies towards extreme. The inflated 25% I’m assuming is simply just “burn the house down” fuck it types.
But I do think fundamentally you’ll struggle to find many...
Do Brexit supporters still exist? I’m actually intrigued whether they’ve become like the Iraq war supporters and not pretend they never supported the venture in the first place.
I assume there’s still some die hards out there. Still dreaming of that wonderful global Britain that nostalgic...
How anyone can remotely dream of voting “welsh” Labour is beyond me. Their track record is not just bad it’s truly embarrassing. They should have gone a long time ago but had that weird result with Drakeford because of the weird belief he did okay on Covid. No 1 he didn’t. No 2 there is a lot...
Darran think about this for five mins.
If you were them and your mother Country was the UK.
So ie your mother tongue is English and maybe your relatives live in say Birmingham (to be stereotypical)
I bet if you were in their shoes wouldn’t you try to get to the UK?
Where as former French...
Darran when you vote in an election you can have more than one thought in your head.
On a list of priorities I’d be something like this:
Economy
Foreign affairs/defence (maybe should be no 1 now)
Education (future of country)
Health
Law & order…
…..
Sort out small boats
The thing with the so called “uncontrolled” immigration argument is that it simply refers to the boats. Which no one bar the most rampant save the whale type would be for.
But an intelligent response would be safe routes, together with multi lateral agreements on sharing the problem.
So ie we...
That’s pretty much what we have right now.
As a result of this approach we have a higher amount of people from outside Europe coming in and a much older less mobile immigration flow after Brexit.
