• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

    Budget November 2025

By the way I’m not being a bleeding heart leftie. I would massively reform the system and especially turn around this ridiculous level of youth unemployment and I’d incentivise stable family units to have kids through tax system to help increase birth rate and hopefully help reduce migration flows.

    Budget November 2025

I’ve changed my tune on the two child benefit cap. I used to fall for the lazy “if you can’t have them” line. But having thought about it a bit and listened to some people I’m okay with it being lifted. People are looking at this from the point of view of future kids. But you have to think...

    Nathan Gill

It’s sooo obvious that Brexit was a Russian plot to destabilise European unity and weaken the UK. The problem is that people have only focused on the referendum which was obviously dodgy but haven’t looked at the long term propaganda that the likes of Gill were pumping out to the gullible sheep...

    The Ashes 2025/26

Hopeless. Just no intelligence with the situation. Just adapt. One boring innings and they were home and dry. Abject failure

    The Ashes 2025/26

Pace. England haven’t had this for years and it’s vital down under. Slight favourites to win the test now. But for them to win ashes they need the quicks to stay fit

    Sentencing

I’m not normally one these it’s an outrage on sentencing. But that is an outrage. Wtf.

So ie surely it makes sense to have communication and reciprocal arrangements. It’s not that difficult to see the rationale if you think about it. (China embassy not Gill!)

Literally every embassy in the World is doing that.

    Martin - please god, NO!!

I completely take it back if there is anything to all this speculation. I simply cannot comprehend the idea that this could happen. Surely it’s bs. Someone who has been successful coming back is one thing someone who has failed and such a divisive a figure is another. If we get this very...

    Tate gives his view!

Flipping heck mate. I don’t think this post is fair. He’s a bloody legend even if he talks shite. He has plenty of credit in the bank for me.

I'm falling out of love with football....

I completely hear you. Ive been in this position for a long time but that’s more football generally than the swans. I cant shake that love. Football as another poster said has lost that special feeling. The excitement of monday night football or champions league etc. Its just everywhere...

    Trump Suing The BBC

I think two things can right at once here. Trump is a loathsome scumbag but the bbc had fucked up here and had to apologise. The beeb obviously had a political slant which obviously in tune with more democratic leanings. It is a shame as they try so hard to be balanced but this sort of...

Cant wait for them to leave office. But the taffia continues with plaid. They've propped labour up for years.

    Kim Hellberg

“Yet on another thread this week you derided fans for saying it's unlikely the next manager will do much better as the players possibly aren't as good as some think they are?” That is completely different to what i posted ive reread it a few times and im not saying anything like youve...

    Tate gives his view!

I totally agree. If I could sum it up it would be “get into em”

Reading this it’s now a resounding yes from me

    Or anything for that matter.

That’s why it needs to be depoliticised which is next to impossible. Decisions on it need to be made for 20 years hence
