    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    There's a chasm between our back 5 and the midfield. It's been a problem all year, we press everyone forward to try and win the ball and leave acres in between.

    The story of Ipswich's season has been missing loads of chances and conceding pretty frequently. We have to get at them tomorrow; if we sit back they will just pepper us with shots until one goes in.

    The counter argument would be that the league is full of teams with a similar quality of player. But every year, two or three of them push the top 6 and some get promoted because of the manager they have. Those with average managers languish.

    When you create as few good chances as we do you can't average a goal conceded a game. We aren't sound defensively and we are one of the worst attacking teams in the league - which doesn't show any sign of changing.

    God knows what shape we're playing now. Just chuck all the forwards on a hope something happens.

    Before the season most people had Preston's team as average to crap. Same with teams like Charlton and Hull. The difference is the manager.

    Is Ronald playing wing back or is Cabango playing full back? Neither option seems smart.

    Should we not have had 2v1? Why did we need 9 men in the box for a free kick which we were shooting from?

    I know it's an individual error, but why was Key left 1v1 with a bloke twice his size in the first place?

    Where is the midfield? Zero players anywhere near the second ball.

    Distinct lack of pace in that team. Be interesting if we play as many long balls as we did in the first half against Charlton because there's only really Idah who can chase them.

    I honestly don't understand your issue. If you aren't happy that I'm using statistics and facts to support an opinion I already had then just don't engage in it. If you would like to discuss the opinion, then at least have something to back it up.

    Unfortunately, the only indicator that matters in football is that after 13 games this season we have less points and goals than we did under Sheehan last season despite spending a shed load.

    Yes but Sheehan got more out of the squad before we spent £15m. Also, teams like Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford and Crystal Palace are praised to the high heavens for their data driven approaches. The best teams and coaches in the world are mining statistics to get marginal gains on the...

    Right, well if we are going to ignore stats such as "goals scored" and the ever controversial "points won" I don't think this is worth a discussion to be honest.

    But we have gotten worse from Sheehan's tenure last season - despite having the second highest net spend in the league. And the underlying numbers say we should be in an even more precarious position.

    We have less ppg and xG this season under Sheehan than we did in his 13 games last season. We have objectively gotten worse.
