All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Thank you though for all the memories

Comparisons with Williams should be moot because our expectations should have been elevated. Sheehan finished last season gaining 1.9ppg, lost 3 players from the first team squad and spent nearly £15m. We are currently: 24th for xg. 24th for big chances. 24th for touches in the opposition box. 22nd for shots on target per match. You could make a very convincing argument that we are the worst attacking side in the division.- lidojack

We looked so much worse than usual first half. As soon as we went one down it was like the players were allowed to make forward-thinking passes and we looked better. It's not a formation issue, it's a tactical one.- lidojack

The pressing structure is abysmal. We are basically playing 4-0-6 out of possession which is leaving a massive space in front of the centre halves. As soon as Norwich beat the initial press the have the simplest of outballs to a man in acres.- lidojack

A marked improvement in the second half. When our midfielders receive the ball and turn towards their goal rather than play it safe we look so much more threatening. Both goals came from midfield runners breaking the lines and getting people around the box. I wonder if the contrast in play is...- lidojack

The problem is that when Cullen is up front we are basically removing crosses as an option. Teams are more than happy to let us have it around the penalty area because they know if we chuck it in the box they are likely to beat our 5' 10 striker to the ball. It wasn't just his hold up play yesterday; he couldn't connect with two free headers from 8 yards out and scuffed a sitter just before the goal. He played some lovely through-balls when he dropped deeper but you aren't going to want to crowbar him into a midfield three that already looks...- lidojack
