Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
For 60mins we were solid, full of attacking intent and looked like a typical top 6 team.
Top 6 teams don’t completely switch that attacking intent off though.
Over the moon to get 3 points and a lot of positives to come away with.
Chuffed for Key, going to be like a new signing.
Great to see Key back in full flight.
He is lightning when he goes for it.
For a period of about 15mins, Eom and Tymon played as a pair, on the same wavelength and it was a joy to watch.
That needs to be the norm for 90mins on both flanks.
Very happy with the win.
Is this a modern phenomenon?
A load of us in our WhatsApp group can’t recall anything like this happening in the 80s and 90s.
Players may scrap but parents would calm it down.
I took my 2 little ones down when we were away to Hull. It was rammed and hard work without my missus 😂
Packed full of dads and their lads though.
Onto a winner there
Oh 100%.
Prior to Matos, we’d be 2-0 down and it would feel like we weren’t even trying to get a goal back.
I’m very positive about Matos and the squad but over the last 20 odd years, we’ve seen success and 2 dangerous wingers were the key outlet for all of our possession.
This is the thing though, Hull are no great shakes but their widemen have scored 17 league goals compared to our 4.
If just 4 of those 13 goals diff settled a match, you’re in the play offs.
Loads of possession with Ronald, Eom and Cullen doing almost nothing in attack.
We’ve had quite a few of these days.
I hate slagging players but if we have play off hopes, it’s not good enough.
