• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

    Relegation? Should We Be Worried?

I’ve calmed down a bit now. I’ll be honest, before we shit the bed, we looked very good and I was enjoying. Fingers (everything) crossed that he can sort us out in the final 3rd because at the moment, we can’t even get the ball into an area of the pitch where Vipotnik could create a chance out...

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea 1 Derby 2 | Att: 14,251 | 25/11/25 | The EFL Championship | The Swansea.com Stadium

I hate criticising individuals but, the West Stand cheered when Ronald’s number came up on the board to be subbed. We must have had 8/9 international footballers grace that pitch this evening and it was utterly pathetic. We are getting destroyed on the flanks. Derby didn’t get out of first...

    Are the players giving everything?

It was the players body language at Pompey that finally tipped it with me re Luke Williams. The Boro game wasn’t great.

    Harlan Perry

He really impressed me when I saw him. He looked like a Leon/Joe type of player. Hopefully they can work with him.

I wish him the best of luck. Always had a soft spot for the Posh since Etherington and Simon Davies ran rings around us.

    The ‘Vítor Matos’ Managerial Thread

I’ve been an utter sucker the last few years and got my hopes up for nearly every new signing and appointment. The only things IMO, that have exceeded expectations and put a smile on my face are Galbraith and big Vip showing everyone that he’s a proper player. Not this time, never heard of...

It’s the 1-2s and quick sprints into the box that’ll kill them. Love it

    The ‘Vítor Matos’ Managerial Thread

I would have got Buffalo Bill in until the end of the season. “It puts the ball into the box or else it gets the hose again”

    Martin. Yes or No?

I’m getting the same results as Copamundial outside of this forum. Overwhelming opinion was to back him. That being said, everyone liked LW

I’m Suprised that Roque Mesa’s name rarely pops up in the hall of shame. At least Clucas played some games. Narsingh equally as shit.
