• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I really like Inoussa. Tons of energy and pace. A welcome sprinkle of unpredictability into the team.

    Manuel Benson last night

I thought he looked great, he was moving the ball quickly and going forward! I know they’re Premier League but I loved the way Forest attacked, the connections and movement were wonderful and that second goal was a work of art. That’s what we’ve been missing. For the last few years, our...

We seem to have chucked everything forward apart from the ball

And we all promised them that they could go to the next game.

The weather has put a lot of people off who were planning on going down with little ones. The Plymouth game was full of families. Gutter. 1170 MW for us now. Over to Gaylon Downes at Sardis Road

    Grassroots Summer football

Been coaching kids grassroots for a few years now and I’m 100% for this for the little ones. Even if a game is on 3G, driving wind and rain on a Saturday morning, freezing temperatures… nobody wants to be there. It’s a different story in spring and summer with training and friendlies, nobody...

I noticed that he was tucking in with Vip during the first half when Inoussa had the ball.

Yalcouye was bringing what we so desperately need…. Drive! When Vipotnik got the ball in the box, you knew he was going to score… class! Inoussa was looking dangerous and making their full back think twice about crossing the halfway line. We had gears to go up in my opinion. It all went to shit...

How many seconds did we spend in Hull’s box during that game? I’d go for less than 45. We were looking really, really good in the first half. Very frustrating.

Substitutions killed us. Took our 3 most dangerous players off mun. Hull deserved at least a point in the end

Behind the Curtain: Richard Montague’s Quiet Exit from Swansea City

This is such a crucial area, one in which we’ve ballsed up almost continuously since Laudrup left. I’m hoping this is for the best.

    Galbraith

How the hell has he been overlooked by other clubs? First 30mins of the Lorient friendly we all said “Premier League player”. I’d argue he’s had 6 MOM on the trot. We’re not a basket case club or, by the looks, in financial difficulty anymore. Flynn Downes had his dream move, I hope Galbraith...
