    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    A lot of our away games in the last few months have been like this. We play some nice stuff, miss a ton of chances and then give away a soft goal or two.

    Not a fan of this change at all. Single-legged semi finals are worse for the teams finishing higher up and a team finishing 8th has no business being in the playoffs. More chance for us I guess 🤷‍♂️

    Our away form has generally been really bad this season, but particularly against the top sides.     You never know but I doubt it. We’ve got pretty tough fixtures left - most of them are against teams above us including four games out of 13 against teams in the top 6. We’d need to see a real improvement in our away form as well as keeping up the good home run against better teams than we’ve...

    I wouldn’t hate a points quota - you only get into the playoffs if you finish in the top 6 and within 10 points of the team in third. If you finish miles away like Bristol City did last season then you’re out and the team you would have played gets a bye.

    Next ten games are noticeably tougher, with 8 of them against teams in or competing for the playoffs. If we can go into the last five within touching distance than we’ll have done great. Amazing to even be thinking about the playoffs given where we were 6 weeks ago!

    Thought that when seeing the teamsheet. We look a lot better with one more defensive player, one box-to-box type and a decent number 10. Playing the three of them together is like having three defensive midfielers and nobody to link up with the front 3.

    A lot of the content is now available online and much more quickly than it can be printed, so there's not as much need for them now. Same thing as opposition profiles and team history, you can find it all online if you want it. I stopped buying them a while ago, still got a whole load going...
