    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Managed to do Malmo, Ploiesti, Valencia & Naples, all fantastic trips. Was supposed to go to St. Gallen as well but we got fogged out as I'm sure lots of others did too.

    We've had easy games at home since Matos took over and generally hard games away, so no surprise that we've done a lot better at home than away. Our performances are better, and more enjoyable to watch, but generally we're still beating the shit teams and losing to the decent ones. Average...

    Ten wins this season, one against a team in the top half. The other nine all against teams below us. That’s enough to keep us in mid table so not the end of the world, but very frustrating when we can compete with and look good against playoff teams like Hull & Stoke but come away with 0 points.

    The only caveat I’d add to that is that we’ve had a run of games against teams down the bottom. Oxford (23rd), Pompey (22nd), Blackburn (21st) and West Brom (19th). We’re definitely better under Matos and should have comfortably enough to stay away from the relegation battle, but I don’t see us...

    Totally agree with pretty much all of that. Shanahan and Salah have done an amazing job of getting the niners this far, as you say without Ayiuk, Pearsall, Kittle, Warner and Bosa, as well as a host of other linebackers.     49ers lose yet another of their star players to injury and still somehow eke out the win. Considering how depleted the defence is really incredible that they kept Philly to 19. I also can’t express how much I love watching a trick play Jauan Jennings TD pass.

    Rather we had a day like that today instead of when we played them in the league last week. Disappointing to go out but we played pretty well overall and really should have finished them off in 90 mins.
