    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Thank you though for all the memories

    I agree the byelection is a huge risk for Burnham, but he's got no choice if he wants to take over the crown. The clock is ticking, and the sooner he can get in place and start making radical changes,the better. Just don't disappoint us like Starmer, Andy. Really get stuck in.

Amongst many memories of his playing days, one which stands out for me was the away match against Rochdale in 2003, the penultimate game of the season which we had to win to stay up. We won it 2-1...

    Wood is good at what he does, which is to outmuscle attackers on the ball, and play simple ten metre passes to his team mates. He NEVER comes out with the ball and runs forward in an attacking sense. He's certainly not the type of central defender we need for next season.

    That's got to go down as a keeper error. He might have been put off by the defender looking as if he was going to head it clear but missing it, but really it's your responsibility to have those covered and keep them out of the net. I doubt Vigs would have been beaten by that.

    Very tetchy game. Even the managers had a go at one another while the ref was talking to the both of them to get them to calm down! Wouldn't be surprised if it all kicks off in the second half, specially if Downes comes on, the dirty fecker.

    Rule changes aren't needed, the laws already exist to deal with the situation, we've just allowed ourselves to drift into a situation where the refs are afraid to apply them. If you're wrestling with an opponent or pulling his shirt, it's a foul (attacker) and a free kick, or a pen (defender)...
