    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Fine margins, could have been 2-0 either way. Burned out again on 60 mins and ultimately undone by our own profligacy, the end product from our wingers was not good enough as per. But still lots of positives for me. I like how we’re playing and how we’re shaping up.

    A clear indication of where we are at the moment. Playing well, look like the better team, some fabulous one touch fast-paced football, but not clinical enough at either end. Yet. We are getting there, we have the makings of a very good team.

    EG is evidently a very classy player with a very high ceiling. But am I wrong to expect more from him, especially in shooting positions? When Vip is about to pull the trigger we all expect, but when it’s Galbraith I don’t get the same sense of anticipation, it may as well be Ronald or Cabango...

    I can’t remember the last time we went away to a promotion chaser and came away with anything. We’re capable of winning if we are ultra clinical and don’t miss sitters like we did at Coventry and Hull, but ultimately I’m not convinced that we are tight enough at the back……yet.

    I don’t think so, not with the fixtures we have in the last 13 games. 65 points would be more than acceptable. And that’s fine, even to be talking about this being a slight possibility means that Matos has been a huge success, and we can genuinely expect to put in a serious challenge next season.
