Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City vs Cardiff City | The EFL Championship

I apologise, my uncle was born with an eye condition and grew up with a horrible nickname (10 past 10 Tom). I should know better and will improve going forward.

    Championship Watch

I’m striking championship games off my accumulators going forward. After last week, I’d though Preston wouldn’t score this season, let alone win!

French winger Bianchini on verge of move?

Ronald, Eom and Franco look like players we would have had during our glory years. If big Vip settles well, we could have another star on our hands. It could all go pear shaped of course but it really feels as though they’ve worked hard and smart since Jan (which should be the norm if we’re to...

People are judging Coleman and the results are plain to see

Going back to the original post on this thread, I’m sure the walk up fans can easily be won back. I totally understand where they’re coming from but my gut is saying that this is the year we reverse the feeling of managed decline. In the mean time, we seriously need to be more proactive in...

People are judging Coleman and the results are plain to see

This has been my biggest bugbear over the last few years. For all the nice football we play, it takes teams a few minutes to work out we haven’t got a player who’s going to put his foot down and worry them. You could see the confidence shift to the opposition, no matter how poor they were and...

People are judging Coleman and the results are plain to see

A stronger first 11 and the right man in charge at the start of the season. Its fine margins for 80% of this league, if we can add some more goals then there’s no reason why we can’t make a push for the top 6.

It's been far too long chaps....

It’s a killer. The home (birthday) and away (Xmas) costs nearly as much as my eldests season ticket. I wore my black Travel House top on Saturday

Williams wants four more quality signings before window shuts

He stood on the touchline watching the boys warm up yesterday. When they were all going back in he hugged/high fived them all. I ear wigged a conversation with people from inside the club a few months ago. The gist was he’s a model pro and very popular. Hope he’s back soon.

People are judging Coleman and the results are plain to see

In my opinion, there were 3 games in particular from a few months ago, that have contributed to the walk up fans staying away. Big crowds and really, really poor performances where our strikers barely touched the ball. Sheffield Wednesday (on a high after the derby) QPR (bumper bank holiday...

Swansea City 3 Preston North End 0 - Your player ratings

I would have given Cooper and Cullen 6, mainly for effort. Great to see Ben have a good game after last week’s wobble. Darling, Key, Grimes and Tymon were great. The new boys and Ronald look really good, I’m starting to believe in the data machine, even if we have run out of credit.

    Eom

Always moving, quick brain and feet. Exactly what we needed.

Williams wants four more quality signings before window shuts

I think with Eom, Ronald and big Vip, Pato would be in his element. I know he’s inconsistent and I’m going to get shot down, but when Pato is firing, he’s a quality player with an end product. I’d prefer we went for Noel Milleskog but if it turns out to be the former, I’d be happy.

Williams wants four more quality signings before window shuts

I can see Pato signing back. With Joe and Ginnelly also set to return over the next few weeks/months, I think any more signings will be loans. I also think we’ll go with Pederson, Lissah and Naughts as CB cover.

Midfielder open to Swans move as he talks about "big club"

Hope we can get old Noel over the line. Notice Karamoko Dembele has signed for QPR on loan.

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City vs Preston North End | The EFL Championship

I’ve got a feeling that we’ll turn up on Saturday and put a good show on. Rightly pointed out that the spine of the team is out of form/confidence, but if Tymon/Eom and Key/Ronald start clicking, those around them may follow.

    Glory Nzingo

I recall reading a fair bit of praise for Josh from the Port Vale fans.

I have renewed but feel the same way. The lack of movement and urgency wrecks me. It felt like the one game where every single player tried and committed 100% to the cause was the Cardiff game. Its a shame because a top six spot is there for the taking to any team that play good football and...
