Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Bristol City | The EFL Championship

If you look on the ticketing site, I'd say there are too many unsold tickets still available to get near 17k. The South Stand is around 75% empty

    Allen set for Wales return...

Bellamy has got a love in with us recently, but this isn't a good idea.

    Cardiff

Still very early days and they've got some tough fixtures out of the way. But when you're on a run like they are it's hard to turn it round. Still think they'll survive.

    TNS, Played 30, Won 30...

They got a decent clubhouse at the ground but the stadium is a long way out of Oswestry town centre, nothing much nearby from what i recall.

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Coventry City vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

Hopefully a little bit of heartbreak for them will put us in good stead for Saturday

Well you did say I asked a stupid question when I asked you if you'd return if we improved despite having the same owners. Best you leave it there if this situation rattles you so much. You've made your decision to stay away and you'll have to miss out. If we ever do get better I don't think...

Feel free to point out what I've misunderstood. You've literally said you'd return if we improved but don't go currently because we aren't doing well.

There we are then. You'll return if the club becomes more successful, but currently chose not to go because we aren't very good....

People do have differing circumstances. But plenty, let's face it, would find a way if we were better. Those who couldn't find a way would be replaced by fans who's only real determining factor is the current success of the team.

Right so we're back to the root cause, people aren't going because we aren't very good currently. But if were to become good again, those people would presumably return again.....

So it's a boycott against the ownership? Admire the principle, but what happens should we have a good window and start pushing for the play offs (like we did 2 seasons ago)? Would he still stay away if the yanks still owned the club?

After all those years of watching lower league dross there shouldn't need to be need to be a maverick marketing campaign to get 17k fans to watch us in the Championship I'm sorry.
  13. Cinio Dydd Sul

    Our support…

No need for abuse. What you're saying is that you won't pay to watch currently because the team isn't very good. And that's even though our season tickets aren't overly pricey. So what other conclusion is there to come to?

Well if deciding not to go games because the team isn't doing very well isn't fair weather, I don't know what is? If people are going to take that decision, you need to own it. The club and players need our support so sorry if anyone's feelings have been hurt but you're choice and you'll have...

Yea so what you're saying is you've decided to stop watching us because you don't think we're currently very good. I get it.

I'd say 7 from 9 at home this season is decent. Did you really expect much at Boro and Wba? 3 goals conceded so far, 1 from open play. I see green shoots, obviously long way to go and Williams has plenty to learn though.
  18. Cinio Dydd Sul

    Our support…

Isn't that the epitome of fair weather supporting though? Especially when that breaking point is the championship, which is, for Swansea City, punching at or above our weight. Support the team not the regime. I could understand it more if there was a genuine boycott protest against the...

    Our support…

It is a sad state of affairs that the club now is basically back in the same position (or maybe slightly worse) as we were when we got promoted to this division, especially attendance wise. You'd have hoped that playing at this level since 2008 (and this level is absolutely no disgrace for us...
