Before you buy an electric vehicle.....

I have solar panels and a battery installed at my home. I charge my battery overnight at 7p a kilowatt and can also charge the car any other electrical appliances at the same cost between 2330 and 0530. I then run the house all day off the battery and export the solar back to the grid at 15p a...

    Wrexham v Stockport

Wrexham have just announced a pre season tour of the southern hemisphere playing A League sides Auckland FC, Melbourne Victory, Sydney and Perth. That is a pretty expensive pre season, i would imagine the weather in July will be certainly cold and wet in Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne.

Before you buy an electric vehicle.....

Second hand EV’s are a bargain, i have had mine over 3 years really pleased and will never go back to ICE. As other have said so cheap to run on an overnight charge, literally £4 for 250 miles, no servicing costs as such, insurance the same or cheaper than an equivalent ICE vehicle and...

    Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Queens Park Rangers 1 Swansea City 2 | Att: 16,351 (1,733 Away) | 21.04.25 | The EFL Championship

That goal by Dembele highlighted the one thing we no longer have, a winger who runs directly at goal and shoots. For years we have had wingers who were just quick and go for the shot, we are desperate for someone to fill that gap in the squad.

Swansea Fans - Please can you help with my research project?

Done, it would be interesting to see the result of the questionnaire and how fans, particularly EFL fans feel about the effect if any, of FFP.

How becoming a Swans fan makes you very cynical

I am responsible for my mates son supporting the Swans and despite being about 14 years old now i still think of him as that 10year old so innocent and supporting the team no matter what and full of optimism. I texted him earlier about the Modric news and how much i had enjoyed the games since...

    Costas

The rule for hot drinks in Aberavon is always go the La Memo Beach cabin at the Scarlet Avenue end of the beach, great coffee and lovely guys who always have time for a chat and they even have a rain shelter as well now.

    Mr Burton

It does show Burton for the flawed character he was, warts and all, and the film gives from what i have previously read an accurate account of his upbringing and the challenges he faced. Unfortunately with his mother dead by the time he was 2 and a drunken father (with a magnificent...

    Mr Burton

Just watched this at Port Talbot Reel cinema, been released a week earlier in Port Talbot. Really enjoyed, can't fault anything with Toby Jones starring. The CGI is a bit crap but the acting is first class, typical small town boy does good movie but enjoyed it.

    Full Fibre woes

It has now been resolved the Plusnet customer services were pretty good at answering the phone and listening, however nobody seemed to take ownership of the issue. It wasn’t helped by Openreach not setting up the connection correctly in the first place and my profile being incorrect. I had a...

    Water bill

Just the two of us, £24 a month and i am quite a few pounds in credit too, but i have also installed water butts all over the garden as the Mrs has the hose on permanently in the garden. I am on a meter and as other have said you notice the difference every time the kids leave or come back!

Yes that ref could have caused a few issues due to his inconsistent approach, i like the way Ben was having a few words with him when the opportunity arose

    Anyone cut the grass yet?

Why have a dog and not walk it? Surely the major benefit of a dog is going for a walk, getting some exercise, chatting to other dog owners, especially if you are not working a great way of clearing the mind and getting to know what’s going on out there..

    Skyline

Been to the Skyline in Rotorua a few times and it’s a good day out and something you can visit more than once. It is also used BY MTB riders who use trails from the top of the mountain back down, however it is a far bigger mountain and with a lot more space around it and parking is virtually off...
