    I find access to both the D and G strings easier and can play quicker. I've tried the " proper " way and find it much harder especially standing up

    I've been playing guitar mainly bass for about a decade. I play occasionally in pubs and clubs and the odd festival. A guy commented on the way I play as my thumb comes over the bass neck a bit like a holding a cricket bat. Anybody play guitar with your thumb on the middle behind the neck?

    I'm aware a few posters see Vip, Cullen and Wales and possibly even Yates as enough to cover a striker position. For me a physical target man who can press, hold the ball up and convert crosses is a must. Not sure any of the above ticks those boxes.

    Would LOB take around a £20k per week pay cut to join us?.. I would imagine he would be looking for higher wage and a 3 year contract which the likes of Wrexham might break to bank for. Although from a footy style and facilities LOB probably wouldn't fancy it. Rather keep Franco and sign McBurnie.
