    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

They must have put some sort of exit clause in there - in order to get of the contract if needs be. Here's hoping they won't need it though

    Summer Transfer Window

Hopefully. I thought the links to him were wishful thinking, but with the Modric link & the apparent Spurs interest from one of the owners - maybe more too it?

    Summer Transfer Window

I hope we can offer both Allen & Naughton a reduced playing role, along side the opportunity to go into coaching. Retaining some old heads might even persuade Ben Davies to come home from Spuds too.

    20 years today….

Remember that day well. Left it late to get my tickets and couldn't get in the North Bank - ended up in the East Stand. Cracking day - great Forbsey goal against a young Joe Hart. And Katherine Jenkins randomly warming up the crowd before kick off

    Harry Darling …

several times in a game, he would dither & spend too long on the ball & get closed down. He'd then turn back to his own goal & fall over from a 'push'. Tried it several times in the home derby against Cardiff & just about got away with it. Good to see he's tightened up his game.

    Wrecsam

They're going to have to revise their recruitment strategy to be competitive in the Championship. They've consistently bought in players capable of playing a division higher than where they currently are. I doubt they're going to be able to convince active PL players to drop down to join them...

    Comedy Gold - Enjoy.

I work in Cardiff  and yesterday was quite frankly the best day I've had in work in a long, long time.

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

Have been told to expect a Sheehan announcement either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Where has that got us exactly? Cooper aside, we've been very underwhelming in this division. Potter, Martin, Williams (not including Duff as he didn't have a full season) have all underachieved massively.

    Season 24/25 | The Official Match Day Thread | Swansea City 3 Oxford United 3 | Att: 19,672 | 3rd May 2025 | The EFL Championship

If we win on Saturday & West Brom don't, a 10th place finish would be a fair end to this season. Looking at the teams above us, we've not been good enough to warrant finishing any higher. Hull spent big so would be funny to see then drop. It's all about the summer for me though, get the manager...

In talks with West Brom, isn't he? Had one good run this season which took up the table, just just as quickly fell off again.

If Swansea could buy/receive any Cardiff players...

They dropped out of the division with no fight and seemingly, without a care in the world. Wouldn't take any - bottle jobs, the lot of them

Not strictly related but just seen that Man Utd are working on a deal for Freddie Woodman to be their no 3 - as Tom Heaton is leaving. His agent is definitely earning his money there

Unfortunately easier to replace one man than a whole team. But I wholeheartedly agree that there is generally far too much player power around in the game.
