    Summer Transfer Window

I don't doubt we paid a small outlet for Inoussa, I believe it the case aswell, I was just replying to Dr W. The fee could initially rise to the value of 6M or in and around and will be spread out with likely clauses as suggested in your post. We could have broken these fees down including...

    Bianchini maybe?

    Summer Transfer Window

That's the thing, we are burdened with a financial restriction but yet 6M has been highlighted on Inoussa, an area of the pitch we were not desperate to strengthen and could have used that money to strengthen other areas....I state AREAS.

    Summer Transfer Window

I absolutely like the idea of Kone, looks a goalscorer from what I have seen on TV and impressed with him down here in his appearance against us. Having difficulties putting the whole thing together. We clearly can't afford him but yet we believe we are able to broker a deal for him....I also...

    Wrecsam

Asking for trouble spending that type of money on a player like Brodhead. It will end in tears, maybe not in a season or 2 but certainly a few years down the line. Yanks and the fans of the series will lose interest in time.

    Summer Transfer Window

Happens at virtually every club after relegation. It didn't and still doesn't sit right that fans used excuses. I seen some absolute shiite over the years and it amazes me to this day that some experienced followers have put recent years football into a category that is so far from the truth. I...

    Summer Transfer Window

People were going to gradually fall off after relegation from the Prem, as time went on then excuses would be made and arguably those excuses were made easy for people. I don't get how people can just walk away from a club because they were bored with the football....it's frankly pathetic for...

    Summer Transfer Window

Early optimism has gone, only a few stragglers. When you hear things like we are looking for better players then it becomes a bit of a siren given the words that we can't compete with most teams in this league.....we should be expecting players like Franco, players who won't make us go WOW but...

    Summer Transfer Window

Yes, probably a bit harsh from myself that. They need to pull things out of the bag in the next few weeks though. This window will see them judged a lot more than the winter window. Still a bit bewildered that they have no left back cover at this stage atleast.

    Summer Transfer Window

That's a dodgy deal for sure. A quick look at his history and he seems a player who would command a few million. As for McBurnie, it's a case of not really bothered as long as we are getting someone in who is better or has more potential......concern is, looks like they are sitting on their...

Only need 1 striker in. DM LB CB Needed before a 2nd striker.

    Should we be concerned?

Cooper is a squad filler. His age and time here should be seeing him as one of the first on the team sheet just as Fulton should be-same category. This is where the club need to be ruthless.

    Should we be concerned?

I don't totally agree with you, I think it helps him he is a local lad. He gets 8-10 goals a season but he doesn't appear to be a player who could get much more. If we play a midfield 2 with Cullen ahead of them and behind a decent striker.....I think between Cullen and a striker that we would...

    Summer Transfer Window

Supposedly we are now in prime position to sign McBurnie as per Alan Nixon.

    Should we be concerned?

Cullen isn't an out and out lone striker.....it doesn't work because he wants to drop deep and get on the ball. Cullen is a player who has to play in the hole behind the striker and linking midfield. He only works up top with a 2 man strikeforce.

    Should we be concerned?

Barnet in the 1996/97 season. Good season that was. I remember going down to Torquay and we lost 2-0 I think, we were sat 23rd in the league after that result. We played Wigan shortly after, Wigan were top of the table(I think) with the hype of the 3 Amigos😁....won that game and had Marc Clode...

I will put that one down to age 🤣

    Should we be concerned?

Possibly. If that is the case then it reminds me of the Molby and Billy Ayre link. Molby wanted football coupled with Ayre's sheer determination and fitness manifold. Who can forget that cold night at the Vetch when Ayre came out in a t shirt and shorts, players all wrapped up with 5 layers and...

    Should we be concerned?

I am not sure who would be behind it, O'Dea or Sheehan would be my guess if my view on it is correct. I am all for the sports science and building the fitness up. Sharp movements and pushing to the extreme from the very start often ends with injuries. As I said, it's just my opinion and if...
