    Summer Transfer Window

I’m treating it as if we aren’t going to end up signing him but it shows that we’re looking to go for it. I think the players we’re going to be getting we’ll all be happy with (on paper). The level of player has taken a step up, we’re getting linked to players we probably wouldn’t have a chance...

    Summer Transfer Window

I can definitely believe the fact that Forest would be willing to let go of both, their squad is bloated still and neither of those two get into the match day squad. A few have mentioned waiting till the 1st July, be interesting to see if that’s the case.

    Summer Transfer Window

This guy looks more like an actual 6 to me, could still see us being interested in O’Brien even if this happens. Although I don’t think OB will happen personally, too much competition and expensive

    Summer Transfer Window

I don’t know about dropped off necessarily but I do think what he brought to the squad can maybe be found for cheaper than we’d pay for him. I’d say his main quality is energy rather than technical quality, there’ll be a lot out there that can offer that. Only thing we’d probably lose is that...

Swansea City: There's no "Wow" signing - or at least not for now...

Let’s be honest, Inoussa was a “wow” signing for us with the amount spent and Burgess having played PL football last season also qualifies. Any more like that and we can be happy.

Hull are cash rich, can see them being able to do a deal for O’Brien easier than us. PSR permitting obviously. Hope he doesn’t go to champ side outside the top ones if it isn’t us though.

    Summer Transfer Window

That would be a decent price. Nothing against Ronald but it’s pretty telling that as a winger, his best attribute is his workrate. Could develop well under Sheehan though if given time so it’s one where there’s positives either way.

    Summer Transfer Window

I wouldn’t say no to a decent offer, I like him and still think he has a way to develop but I’d be taking the money if it was good.

    Summer Transfer Window

Think that guy was just saying that because he becomes a free agent on Friday. People really taking this ‘wow signing’ rumour and running with it😂

    Summer Transfer Window

It Is Nixon though so who knows if it’s true. Still waiting for Ethan Erhahon to sign for us, was close according to him…

    Summer Transfer Window

Agree re Inoussa and Widell. I always thought Bennett was a strong defender but that was about it, which worked for Cooper and his more conservative style of football. When asked to play the ball, he was left wanting. Still, he’s pretty much responsible for our win against Blackburn when we went...

    Summer Transfer Window

I think the key difference between that window and this one is the profile of player we are picking up, they seem well rounded with a good mix of attributes. Thinking back to that summer, most of the players were too one dimensional for the championship with the best being Ginnelly who was never...

Saw on Twitter earlier from Fabrizio Romano that he’s leaving Chelsea, would be a good pick up, probably need to start though

    Summer Transfer Window

Yep, also the wow player has to actually want to be at the club, definitely not the case with Sanches

    Summer Transfer Window

It was interesting that we saw him down the middle under Williams and then the few appearances he made with Sheehan were on the wing. I’d be happy for him to be back up to Ronald or Inoussa.

    Summer Transfer Window

I remember Ipswich in the championship being good to watch, they definitely did build up from the back when necessary. I think he’s a more than capable ball player, it’s the lack of pace with both him and Cabango that worries me a bit. Having said that, Mike Van Der Hoorn and Fede had no pace...

    Tomas the Tank

I would argue Nuno was a poor fit for Spurs, his football is nothing like what Spurs fans expect/want. He was on a hiding to nothing unless he won the league which was realistically never going to happen. Could be the same with Frank, although he seems more adaptable as a coach.

    Summer Transfer Window

Vital saying it’s not happening now, seems like today has been full of false rumours

    Summer Transfer Window

Vital has a very strong track record, basically gets everything right. I would be inclined towards believing them at the moment. Plus the account that originally broke the news about the midfielder has 100ks of followers, looks a proper journalist

    Summer Transfer Window

Vital has confirmed the link from the Japanese League and poured cold water on the Adam Randell ones so I’d say we can expect that to happen
