Whoever started the wow rumour on here, we have certainly run with it for most of the summer, saying we're aiming high for a statement striker. Whether or not that was Geubbels, he says it wasn't - who knows. It's obvious that it's fallen through through, so now we're looking for alternatives.

I said before that this supposed wow striker has been hyped up so much, whoever come sin (if anyone) would be an anti climax. The names being banded around certainly aren't that inspiring, but if the club believe they're better than what we have, then I'll back them.

If his attitude has gone, then get rid. If he's not in the team, you'd hope he'd get his head down, train hard & try to get back in the team. Hasn't really happened for him unfortunately.
