    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

Where has that got us exactly? Cooper aside, we've been very underwhelming in this division. Potter, Martin, Williams (not including Duff as he didn't have a full season) have all underachieved massively.

    Season 24/25 | The Official Match Day Thread | Swansea City 3 Oxford United 3 | Att: 19,672 | 3rd May 2025 | The EFL Championship

If we win on Saturday & West Brom don't, a 10th place finish would be a fair end to this season. Looking at the teams above us, we've not been good enough to warrant finishing any higher. Hull spent big so would be funny to see then drop. It's all about the summer for me though, get the manager...

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

In talks with West Brom, isn't he? Had one good run this season which took up the table, just just as quickly fell off again.

If Swansea could buy/receive any Cardiff players...

They dropped out of the division with no fight and seemingly, without a care in the world. Wouldn't take any - bottle jobs, the lot of them

A tale of two keepers... I'd be taking Rushworth every day of the week.

Not strictly related but just seen that Man Utd are working on a deal for Freddie Woodman to be their no 3 - as Tom Heaton is leaving. His agent is definitely earning his money there

    Probably keeps them as pets.

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

Unfortunately easier to replace one man than a whole team. But I wholeheartedly agree that there is generally far too much player power around in the game.

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

It certainly risks upsetting the apple cart in terms of the dressing room and the feel good atmosphere around the club at the moment if they go against Sheehan. Maybe with the size of the squad rebuild needed, they feel a fresh manager would be like truly hitting the reset button?

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

So I have a mate in the media. He's told me Sheehan has been pulled from the presser today - will just be Vigouroux. Sheehan will face the media tomorrow instead. Suggests some sort of announcement is imminent...

    Wrexham v Stockport

Still a twist in the tale for Wrexham I think. Charlton on Saturday is as tough as it gets - they can still get top 2 as well.

    Cardiff City Relegation Party. #findyourlevel

This is the crux of it. Lose & they're down. Anything else takes it to the last day. I don't think any of the bottom 3 will win on Saturday. And Derby will beat Hull.

    The 2024/25 season

A lot of the players have had the football, flair & attacking individuality coached out of them by Russ & the Bald man. The football had become so robotic. They're only now starting to recover. Plenty of opportunities to pull the trigger earlier than they did. Unfortunately this season has...

Good. I'm glad there will be plenty of Oxford fans - makes for a much better atmosphere. Took my Mrs to the Hull game - her first Swans game & she said she was surprised at how flat the atmosphere was (in the West, admittedly).

True, just desserts for their constant delusions of grandeur

Don't get me wrong, I'm revelling in this as much as anyone & I would truly love for them to go down. But it ain't over yet & there will be a few people with serious egg on their faces if they somehow manage to stay up.

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

Or other teams will see we've been on a good run & will wonder why he isn't the manager (at the fault of the club). Some will see it as a steal.
