    I don’t think we have any choice but to give him time to learn. I felt the same with Willy and Martin, but neither ever did, even when it looked like Martin had, he just ignored what he was seeing and went back to his garbage.

    With Vipotnik scoring from his only chance every game that’s a big shout, but it’s the only option to give him a fair shake. I think he’ll need for Vipotnik to go off the boil, or the pressure will not lessen.

    VAR would have backed up the ref on the disallowed goal (it was too close to being in Benda’s hands), but we’d have had a penalty. VAR is still shit though, and I’d rather not.

    He should have been angry and I think he was, but he also should be angry with tactics, subs and selection. Relying on refs to get things right is not a sound strategy. Changing the way youu play to try and score more goals, is.

    I don’t think we ever looked like we could get that done and dusted at any time unless we’d held a 1-0 for 60 mins which we are not capable of against anyone that has a go at us.

    You have to create more, or them’s the breaks. The team set up and attitude is just wrong. Sheehan is going nowhere but he needs to start learning fast or we just ain’t winning many games.

    Inoussa is fine. We just need to play it to his feet instead of his head. We’ve looked a really dumb team since we scored. Hoofing the ball out the wing at head height when you’re way overmatched everywhere on the field in the air is beyond dumb.

    No but Forest were much better than us too. A freak result is a freak result. Most championship sides apart from SW have looked much of a muchness if I’m honest, us included.

    It’s strange isn’t it? Win and 11 from 7 isn’t bad, lose and 8 from 7 is poor. I’m more concerned still with the passivity and the lack of urgency to score, especially when ahead, than the points. We’re simply too conservative with the ball still.
