I'm still enjoying it though. A lot.

    Cardiff City Relegation Party. #findyourlevel

We and the Cardiff fans are identical. No religious differences. No class differences. Both blue-collar working class cities. And, by the way, I slice my eggs on the narrow end, and anyone who does it on the other end can F... Off! (You know who you are.)

And to make that happen, can anyone recommend a central London pub to meet up and celebrate their demise?

    What Ewe Watching

Try Ted Lasso on Netflix if you haven't seen it yet and want a feelgood comedy to watch. There are plenty of clips on YouTube if you want a taster.

The "Things that are worth saying but are not important enough to have their own Thread" Thread

What is an onion bag and is Monmouth the only one here who has one? Onion Bhagi I could understand. Are there any other terms that are totally baffling to under 30s?

    Newport sack manager

It wasn't exactly a sacking, was it? He was due to leave at the end of the season and now Newport are safe, they let him go early.

    Wrexham v Stockport

I like them but I'll be happy to see them to miss out, and consolidate with another season in L1. It's not supposed to be too easy. And Wrexham being favourites when playing Cardiff amuses me no end.

    Piroe - promotion clause

BBC article. Swansea City are in line to receive around £2m as part of a promotion clause in the deal that took striker Joel Piroe to Leeds United. Piroe joined Leeds from the Swans in 2023 in a transfer worth more than £10m, with a £2m payment if the Yorkshire club secured a return to the...

    One of the owners

The club is losing £400,000 a week, so I doubt if they'll be looking to lose even more any time soon.

    British Steel - Nationalisation

So, to sum up. Unusually, everyone on this site congratulates the government on doing this. But they should have done more for Port Talbot and stop being so beastly to the last Conservative Government for what happened when the Conservatives were in charge for the last fourteen (14) years. OK?

Serious question: why would the 'higher ups' want Sheehan to continue to play his best 11, does the club get more money? Now that we are officially on the beach, shouldn't we thank the on-loan players but keep them on the bench (or beach) while we give the U-21s more experience?

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Sunderland 0 Swansea City 1 | Att: 42,263 | The EFL Championship

It's becoming really difficult not to give him the job (to state the bleeding obvious). He deserves a full season in charge.

Someone could be dying, all of us can spare 30 minutes while they sort it out. And what's the alternative, all the fans around them standing and chanting while they try to save his life? You're definitely not callous but I think you're mistaken.

    British Steel - Nationalisation

And yes, we do have to nationalise steel, but who has the worse hand here? The Govt because they have to buy it, or the Chinese because they have to sell it?

    British Steel - Nationalisation

I still don't really know what Starmer believes in. Jeremy Hunt seems like a sensible, liberal Tory and their views appear to be similar. I'm not complaining, just puzzled. But taxing private schools as businesses is a good start.
