In 1 word… money The idea that it damages our ranking for the World Cup is a bit of a red herring as we’d lose very few points for losing away to England (and would have gained very few for beating a lower ranked team). There’s a chance it could be that tight but reality is we need to win the...

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

They seem to be trying things with the family stand but things don’t really seem to have budged (obviously need time). A whole host of reasons why, but I’d imagine the average age of season ticket holders is going up and up which can’t be a good thing long term.

    Dutch player Wyn De Gol

I remember Roger taking a goal kick that blew back and went out for a corner in similar winds. No idea which ground it was at though! Sure someone will remember.

    Russell Martin

Didn’t see any of that game today but got to be the end of the road for him, surely.

    Another gutless performance

My biggest bug bear. If you want to play out from the back that’s fine, but the whole point is surely to beat that first press and take a minimum of 3/4 opposition players out of the game and create space/overloads to attack. We’ve been so guilty the last few years of slowing the game and...

Good effort for me on a Sunday morning 😂😂 (and thanks!)

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

I think Covid definitely played a part in Cooper’s legacy (and how he was viewed at the time - I felt similar to you at the time). No crowds probably helped the players in that they were never given grief for sitting in when 1-0 or 0-0 BUT I importantly I think when ‘we’ watch on TV it’s more a...

Definitely been more disappointed leaving the ground after a couple of the draws this season. Unbeaten home record was always going to end at some point, but we need to bounce back with a couple of wins at home soon though. Despite their indifferent start I’d be very surprised if Leicester...

Wrexham v Birmingham (Friday night lights)

Listening to the Second Tier podcast last night, they made a good point about this. Usually there’s a handful of out of work proven Championship managers ready to step in, but if Parkinson or Davies was sacked I’m not sure who they’d go for - based on the expectations of the owners.

Plenty of draws at the minute. The league is very open this year.

I guess so 😂 but managers always talk about ‘3-game weeks’ when there’s a Tuesday/Wednesday Championship game.

Yep, not created anything and giving the ball away really cheaply.

Agree that Eom & Cullen are likely to start. Unless Galbraith is moved to right back (unlikely), I think we’ll see Vigouroux; Key, Cabango, Burgess, Tymon; Franco, Galbraith, Cullen; Ronald, Vipotnik, Eom Wouldn’t be suprised if it’s Stamenic instead of Galbraith but either way I can see them...

    Signing/New contract?

In which case we’re probably in the strongest position (in terms of contracts) we’ve been in from a footballing point of view for a long time 👍

    Signing/New contract?

Really positive news that. Going through a tough patch atm but I’d get Key signed up to a longer deal too. Allows the focus next summer to be solely on recruitment. Ronald the only other ‘starter’ with a contact expiring before 2028?

Worst VAR blunder of all time.

I find it really strange that they didn't initially go with recently retired referees as the VARs. Seemed an obvious route to go down before then training people for that specific role. Appreciate that it seems to work ok in rugby and cricket, but the dynamics of being the onfield ref on...

They definitely all have different attributes and aren’t like for like replacements for one another. I’d like a different balance (with 2 of them and a number 10) at home though, but I do think they’d actually complement each other really well if you had 3 of those 4 playing in a midfield...
