    Adam Worth

He is obviously still watching/interacting on this forum in hidden form. There’s no way someone who was so active on swans forums would just give that up I hope he isn’t listening to the fans that want Russell Martin back and taking inspiration

    Kim Hellberg

Surely all Managers get sacked at some point regardless of championship experience? The Managers available who have championship experience I.e Wagner, Mowbray, Corberan have all failed in their previous jobs. I’m not sure their championship experience is going to give us any more advantage...

    Kim Hellberg

I think we wanted to appoint him in the summer but the backlash of not appointing Sheehan would have been incredible if we got off to a slow start under Hellberg which meant the decision was taken out of Gorringe/Montague hands Ultimately there was no way we could have justified not giving it...

Rodgers was successful at Watford and then had a rough 6 month spell at Reading - but was still a young coach who had innovative ideas and was not set in their ways. My suggestion was that Jenkins didn’t want to appoint Managers who had been round the block for years with a mix of...

What sort of appointment would you be happy with Phil? I think Hellberg looks a good fit. Huw Jenkins had a philosophy of only appointing managers who had not suffered failures in their careers to date - he thought it would create a fresh and enthusiastic environment with Managers who are...

    SHEEHAN SACKED

I haven’t read that any of the backroom staff have left - the club statement only says Sheehan I would guess Margetson, O’Leary will stay on. Someone like Hellberg would bring his assistant and possibly another coach

    SHEEHAN SACKED

I feel for Sheehan more than most of the other managers we’ve sacked over the years. This has been the first poor spell he’s ever had as a Manager and I think you could sense in his interviews and appearances he didn’t really know how to combat that. I think ultimately it was the correct...

    How I see it

I think one of the big issues supporters have with Sheehan is everything is so predictable I can almost guarantee most games regardless of score we’ll see subs come on at 60 minutes. We are seeing the same patterns of play week in week out and when it’s not working, even I know what Sheehan is...

There's a trend here we have to break for the future

Sheehan was brought in by Paul Watson I think the clubs idea in the past has been to employ their own backroom staff who would continue even when a change of Manager happens I.e Sheehan, O’Leary, Margetson are all connected to the club rather than the Manager

    Player Recruitment or Manager

The fact that Cooper got us into the play offs twice and a large majority (not all) were happy when he left speaks volumes

    We want Sheehan out

We aren’t as bad as the last few months under Williams but the difference is we have spent significant amount of money on players this summer and the expectation is raised based on that alone Atleast Williams & Martin could argue they were not backed. The team that finished 8th under Martin...

    Player Recruitment or Manager

I think you are definitely correct that one of our biggest issues is we do not have a clear plan/style. It’s my opinion only but I’m not a fan of changing the way we play based on the opposition. We set up with Graham Potter & to an extent Russell Martin to dictate the game on our own basis...

Whoever decided to spend £9million on Idah deserves the sack Would love to know what scouting was done on him to suggest he was going to improve this team

As much as it’s a sad reason of absence - I think we could benefit from Stamenic not being in the side today. Franco & Galbraith in the deeper 6 roles with room for Widell or Cullen further forward would mix things up a bit

Crazy to think Galbraith who’s pretty much had 7 Man of the Match performances in a row is dropped I suppose I do see some logic in it with resting some players but still think we should be starting our best players. Innousa should be starting too in my opinion Good options off the bench tho

    Signing/New contract?

Tymon was definitely a Michael Duff signing - said in an interview he’d been following his career and tried to sign him a few times in the past

    Idah

Timing is everything and he’s been bought at the wrong time with Vipotnik turning into a goal machine

I may be in the minority but I thought we played well & enjoyed the game Every team we have played against this season look decent which I think backs up how stronger the league is We aren’t going to get many easy games this year

I can’t understand why we would take off our biggest goal threat in Vipotnik? He was having a great game & creating chances
