Wind was playing havoc with crosses and cross field balls. I've rarely seen so many miss kicks in a game. Makes Tymon's volley all the more remarkable.

    The Ashes 2025/26

We'll have a very good test at some point after the series is lost. We might even win it but will probably have to settle for draw. They'll then claim to have found the answer and turned a corner.

    Bazball football

I was expecting an Oxford onslaught from about an hour but it never materialised because we were very good when they had the ball. It finally happened at 88 minutes by which time they were very frustrated. Then Idah kept the ball in the corner for two and a half of the 5 added minutes which...

Oxford offered nothing down their left side which allowed Galbraith to roam and pop up all over the park. That can't happen against a team that has a credible threat down their left.

Things that annoy you more than they should

According to the BBC report the Xg was: Swansea 0.63. Oxford 1.16. I don't understand that at all.

Oxford were awful because they weren't allowed to be any good. They started the game confidently as you would expect them to having taken 4 points from their last 2. Then we got the press right and stopped them playing. They got more and more frustrated as the game more on because we stopped...

What was very evident in the ground was that the wind made it very difficult to play towards the south end.

Best performance of the season for me. Battled throughout. Outstanding Eom, Galbraith and Burgess won everything in the air in the second half. Well done boys and well done Vitor.
