    SHEEHAN SACKED

Every time our coach leaves, especially since Laudrup, I’m reminded of Sir Alex Ferguson’s first six seasons at Manchester United: SeasonPosPldWDLFAGD 1986-8711th421414145245+7 1987-882nd40231257138+33 1988-8911th381312134535+10 1989-9013th3813 164647–1 1990-916th381612105845+13...

    Burgess

I dare saying that Burgess’s post comes from a captain staff player ( No disrespect Mr. Cabango )

Sheezy got it wrong, the team is lacking confidence… and so on. no need for binoculars to see that we are in deep sh.., but, for me, they are the best team we’ve played against this season. They are better than us, simply as that, and they deserve our respect.

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | PNE 2 Swansea City 1 | Att: 15,911 | 05/11/25 | The EFL Championship | Deepdale

I thought we were decent enough for a point. PNE second goal proved again that we lack physicality in many areas of the pitch (and again, Sam Parker should be ahead of Key in the pecking order for the next few games). In addition, it seems that teams have learned that in order to shut us down...

Luke Williams - Peterborough United Manager

Not a fan of a drive down the memory lane. Didn't work out for us, all the best for him in the future. Next.

It’s quite clear who is our main asset (and the player were are gonna lose first)

    Vigouroux interview

Caught my ear too. I'm more sure now that it reflects VIP situation and maybe Widdel's. In any case, great news.

    Josh Key

Key is a good crosser and have an adequate attacking sense. On the other hand, his dribbling is poor and he is slowwww which expose us to danger every time he is caught out of possession. As I wrote before, Parker should get a run at the starting eleven, He is quick and can develop. I wondered...

    Vipotnik

One more encouraging fact: in the top 10 goal scorers of the championship, VIP is No. one in goals per minute- only 88.

    Idah

Only a few weeks ago, at the last day of the transfer window, dozens of posts were written, full of fear that he will stay at Celtic… He wasn’t part of the pre season, and even worse for him, VIP forgot how NOT to score. Time and patience is needed here.

    Alan Sheehan.

Regarding Sheehan’s ability, the jurors are still out.. for me there is one small issue: he is too nice, not “bad” enough. After the second penalty not given (Even after the first) I would have expect him to behave a little more like Jose M. even with the possibility of getting a yellow card or...

    Josh Key

Regarding key: he needs to be dropped. I would be glad to see Parker given a run for a few games. He has a higher ceiling and of course, speed, even if it will cost us to a certain level. Edit: with Ronald finding himself more and more in the middle of our attack, it exposes Key’s weaknesses...

Actually the statistics shows that both teams had the same percentage of backwards passing (around 17%). But when you have 545 passes overall (they had 306) it looks like M&W football.
