Lots of shots tonight but still very few actual chances created. They played very poorly but we still did not make them work that much despite them just letting us have the ball all game outside of their area. We can not just say we were unlucky tonight. Another game with under 1xG. This just...

Inoussa has a long way to go to prove he is top champ quality. Cabango is a solid Championship defender but not a top one. France similar for midfield. Vipotnik a top Championship finisher but we will see what else he has to offer over a longer period. You are being a little generous overall.

Papering over the cracks if we get back into this but who cares. Come on Eom.

If we could actually attack and create chances then the Key mistake would not have even been relevant. We are still good defensively but these mistakes become meaningful if we do not score ourselves.

Our squad is better than these performances but it also might not be as good as we thought. By the week our window looks not quite as exciting as we first hoped in August.

We have been okay tonight and the scoreline is harsh on us. The problem is if we continue to create so little, this is what happens and will consistently happen. You can get away with being okay, if you're also good sometimes, but when you are only ever okay it catches up with you.

Inconsistencies? We are very consistent. Too consistent if anything.

Fair to say we edged a half that should probably still be 0-0. Another half without us creating a truly great chance. We need to find this fix soon. Still well in this game and can grind out a win.

Hopefully Inoussa has a minor injury and has not been knocked off the bench for Santos. If Inoussa and Stamenic were available, we will have some big decisions to make about the bench. Maybe the two loanees in Benson and Yalcouye drop out.

We are starting to feel personally targeted by this accounts tweets now. Surely he can find one of these tables where we are a positive.

Tom Gorringe - The Business of Sport

I agree. That topic is where the shorts guy came alive and was trying to pick at Tom's words. It is a bit shameless and does not sit entirely right with me but I am not sure if I care enough to fight it. When he mentioned if the Death Row collaboration actually had any synergy or was just...

Vig Tymon Casey Cabango Burgess Key Galbraith Franco Widell Inoussa Idah Even if Stamenic and Vipotnik are back, maybe it would be for the best if they start on the bench. The option to pair Vipotnik with Idah later in the game is exciting without having to rush Vipotnik back. I do not know...

Tom Gorringe - The Business of Sport

In interviews with the executives they usually get no push back and talk in cliches so end up saying nothing interesting. For this reason, I found Gorringe incredibly impressive in this interview. The one in the shorts was sceptical about a lot of things and pushed back or interrogated a lot of...

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

I do not mind the rotation we have seen this year. With the two games against Premier League teams in the League Cup and many international players who play regularly when there is a break, we could not have expected players to be playing every single minute. Right now I think Sheehan is using...

    Southampton sack Still

Our game against them may have had a huge impact on both clubs. If they had won by 3 or 4 like they deserved, they may have kicked on but it seems they went backwards after that. We snuck a draw and the pressure on Sheehan dropped a little and has allowed us to regather and stabilise a little...

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

I doubt any single player is an instant fix, but I do miss LOB too. Maybe the money we may have had for him went on Widell in January? We did not really spend any money in his position and he would have been great to add on top of what we have now rather than instead of Stamenic, Idah or...

    AI articles need to end.

A lot of people are using AI to check facts and despite errors being pointed out they will still use them the next time they want to check facts. Maybe this is the wrong part of the site to discuss this but I do worry about how this will become more widespread going forward.
