    Senedd election

I would hope Labour and Green voters, seeing the lie of the land, would vote tactically for Plaid. I would. PS I don't know how the election is structured. Is there any form of PR?

I wouldn't be taking any cheques from Reading. Cash or card only.

If true, a good move for all. Good luck to him.

Luke Williams - Peterborough United Manager

Just make sure you beat Cardiff at home in April, Luke.

Actually it's a toss up between Widdell and Franco. Both could do a job. On reflection, maybe I'd put Widdell in for his engine. He'll run all day closing players down.

I've seen them a couple of times this season. They are a very physical side and will try and bully us. Definitely a game for our more robust players from the off. My starting eleven: Vigs Ward, Cabango, Burgess, Tymon Staminic, Franco, Galbraith Eom, Vip, Ronald

    Joel Ward

Sorry, but he showed his lack of sharpness on several occasions for me today. Not surprising, given his recent lack of game time. I saw enough to believe he will be a good signing as and when he becomes match fit.

Very disappointing, but if you don't take your chances, you're going to lose more often than not at this level. Quite a few positives to take though. Some good performances - Eom, Widdell, Tymon. I hope Vic Tomatoes has seen the potential in Key as an attacking midfielder, we've been saying it...

You just knew that was coming. Ward fails to cut out the cross, Fisher never saw it.

Ward is looking half a yard off the pace, I'm afraid. Hope it's just match fitness.

No foul, just Fisher not commanding his area. We may well regret not playing Vigs.

As I feared, we've nothing much happening in midfield. May need to change sooner rather than later, but I suspect Vic won't shake things up until we go behind.

Interesting line up, only criticism is midfield is a bit lacking in creativity. Franco and Staminic are more ball winners than creative players. Let's see if they can step up.

    The Big Match Revisited 1977

Just watching a bit of this program this morning. A real eye opener for youngsters. How the game has evolved! They showed Fulham drawing 1-1 with Charlton, and the pitch was like a ploughed field, with the ball sticking in the mud, or bobbling around on the rutted surface. And the play...

    Ref Watch

I absolutely agree, and if you remember, I praised the ref we had against WBA recently for booking one of theirs for a rotten foul on Yalcoure after just three minutes.

Well, two points dropped by the scum is one way to look at it. Wish we'd made a cheeky bid for Salech instead of Idah in the summer.

Very good equaliser by Salech, unfortunately.
