It is obvious though! He was signed and started off as a central midfielder! Only because Key was playing atrocious was he pushed to RB. He has a history of playing RB and the mindset was he could also cover RB if required. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but we should have targeted a RB to come...

I disagree, I believe he is the only option to play there currently rather than playing Key who would hinder us.

Because he clearly didn't think Key was justified to play RB and the only other option was to play Galbraith at RB. How many times has Matos started Galbraith in midfield since he arrived?

Galbraith is an intelligent player, he can play RB but I think someone so gifted and technical is wasted at RB. Let's play him in the position we signed him to play, get a RB in who isn't seen as a stop gap and push on.

Did we sign him to play right back or central midfield? I would take a guess it was central midfield given he started the season there and only went into RB due to Key lack of form. I think a recent interview from him suggests he prefers CM.

We certainly need goals. We bought midfielders/wingers in with goal tallys of 3/4/5 in a season. We needed a central midfielder capable of helping out with goals, a player capable of pushing 8/10 goals over a season. I think looking back and hindsight is a great thing, we should have been...

I would agree. Winger wise the club wanted one in to broaden it's options, we have lost Inoussa who is likely to be out for some time and replaced him with Nunes so our wing options are still as limited due to this injury.
