    Lawrence Vigouroux

Yes, but as in all walks of life some people do their jobs much better than others. Teachers are a good example, got great ones and poor ones. Bottom line is Vigoroux is saving our season.

What are we really expecting from Matos....

Well, yes I know what you mean about the barren years of old 😊 ... but a youngster aged say 9 in 2016 starting out watching the Swans, will have seen some awful boring stuff for the subsequent 10 years. I don't recall being bored in the barren years, frustrated yes, but the object in the main...

What are we really expecting from Matos....

Tbh as a similar septuagenarian, I take great comfort from having seen two golden eras. I can though live without a third, however nice it would be ..but it's for the youngsters I really hope that the good times come again. Nothing of real note since around 2016 (apart from the awful play off...

What are we really expecting from Matos....

Good points but for me the superstar was Gomez..do you remember the quintuplet roll-overs when on the floor 😂

What are we really expecting from Matos....

Snappy easy headline reply I suppose, with little thought - but... Being realistic is assessing a situation rationally and managing expectations. Being negative is assessing the same situation irrationally and expecting the worst outcome..or conversely - with irrationality especially - a...

What are we really expecting from Matos....

..with the current squad. To be fair he's changing the culture but surely there's only so much he can do with the current players at his disposal ? A few on here recently were eyeing the play offs 🤔. No way without some better quality in, and mediocre/poor out. Gonna have to wait for the...

    Ollie Cooper

But as a squad player, coming on to replace other tired legs , he will be useful.

    Ollie Cooper

A good tactic I agree, but not sure Ollie sees himself as an oldie at 26 😊

Easily done mate, hope things ok now 🤞

    The press and the passion

Well, I agree with what you say, but either he or you have got the words slightly wrong😊 Try "take me to the Vetch Field..." But the passion is there 👍 I also liked the East stand encouraging Key yesterday 👏

    Kim Hellberg

Can't someone alter the thread title 🤔 "Kim Hellberg is of no interest at all to our Club but let's talk about actual previous managers"

    This is nice to read

While I agree, I'm not sure Vitor is a regular poster or visitor to this Board so he won't feel the pressure of playoffs from our more optimistic contributors.😂 Safe mid table with a change of culture will do for me this season. Oh, and sell Ronald !

    Jay Fulton

He's a squad player and we need the likes of him.

    Jay Fulton

No way is he a useless clown, not saying he shouldn't move on .. but that's ott. Been a good servant to the club, compared to others who can't last one season thru attitude or whatever.

    Matos

I suspect he is the gem, a cut above a lot of our squad..he can but get the best out of them (which it seems he might be, effort wise at least)..and hopefully he can get some quality in along the way, getting rid of Ronald and the like.

As an aside, I really don't like these stupid face pics, with silly hands etc. Need to be more professional tbh as a Club. I'd love to get Roy Keane's take !!

This one I tend to agree with you Jack

    EFL refs

I agree the Hackney foul was more than a ref howler, and he ( the ref) should be suspended at least for incompetence. Very bad incident But the conspiracy theories, come on guys, I'm not having it . Conjuring up extra time to allow an equaliser 😂😂 However, the bias of fans to question most...

    EFL refs

So refs never red card home players 🤔. This one simply a ref howler.
