If the parking and footfall around Hafod Park and Pentrehafod is anything to go by, we’re in for a bumper crowd this evening.

World Cup 2026 - A General Thread (Includes ‘Hydration’ Break Discussion)

Most tournaments just pass me by which is weird because even though I’m not an egg fan, I get totally immersed in the Rugby World Cups. I googled “when is the Qatar World Cup?” A few days ago, erased from memory already.

Much better!! We were trying to make those quick connections in the right areas of the pitch. Still not great and Oxford were shit, but much better. 2 new wingers in January and we’ll be alright.

The flanks make up a significant part of the pitch. Under Martin, I honestly believe if we could have strengthened there (Ogbene), we would have been in the play offs. Since the Duff era, the flanks have become our downfall. Almost zero productivity and a real weak point, ripe for targeting.

Well I listened to the first half and in my head I was in Laudrup land. Watched the second half and it was like watching us away at Portsmouth last year. Ffs mun

He’s a very clever player, the runs he makes allow his team mates the freedom to play shit

The last time we showed energy, movement and desire, the chef from the canteen gave the team talk.

    Relegation? Should We Be Worried?

I’ve calmed down a bit now. I’ll be honest, before we shit the bed, we looked very good and I was enjoying. Fingers (everything) crossed that he can sort us out in the final 3rd because at the moment, we can’t even get the ball into an area of the pitch where Vipotnik could create a chance out...

I hate criticising individuals but, the West Stand cheered when Ronald’s number came up on the board to be subbed. We must have had 8/9 international footballers grace that pitch this evening and it was utterly pathetic. We are getting destroyed on the flanks. Derby didn’t get out of first...

    Are the players giving everything?

It was the players body language at Pompey that finally tipped it with me re Luke Williams. The Boro game wasn’t great.

    Harlan Perry

He really impressed me when I saw him. He looked like a Leon/Joe type of player. Hopefully they can work with him.

    The ‘Vítor Matos’ Managerial Thread

I wish him the best of luck. Always had a soft spot for the Posh since Etherington and Simon Davies ran rings around us.
